Mad Mex– You win! As a Texan who is in a very thorough search to find any decent tex mex around here, I have to say… you win! I’ve tried many places including pepe’s, g y g, tuckeria and many more and you win! If I were in Texas, I’d rate it a 2 or so but here, here you are number 1!!! I will definitely be back!

Great authentico Mexican finally! Love the burritos at this place! Reminds me of Mexico :) Always get the guacamole! Note: steer clear of Guzman y Gomez, mad mex is mucho better!

It is rare for me to write a negative review but it is with hope that the owners would see it and try to fix the issues with the food. While the burrito was big enough and they offered a delicious queso nacho cheese sauce, we were terribly unimpressed by the meal. The biggest disappointment was the temperature of the meat/vegetariano fillings — they were cold, which is alarming(I would gauge an automatic fail upon food inspection). It made us wonder if something was wrong with the heated section. Secondly, the vegetarian option tasted bitter and was texturally unappetising that I had to dig it out of my burrito. I would probably advise eggplant be eliminated as bad produce can and does quickly ruin the meal(make it simple with capsicum, onions, and mushrooms). And thank you for providing guacamole as a freebie for the vegetarian option. Thirdly, while I did witness the burrito maker press the burrito wrap before filling it, the wrap itself was not warm. On the other hand, service was good and I felt the guys behind the counter were pleasant. It is just unfortunate the food wasn’t on the same level.

We went there on their opening day, while they had their $ 5 burritos. Although the line was huge, they were pumping through the customers very quickly, and the burritos were huge!
