An excellent restaurant situated beside the lake with a choice of indoor or outdoor seating. Can be warm inside on a hot night, but you may want to choose outside in that case plus you’ll have a pleasant view of the lake. But you’re not here just for the view but also the food, which is excellent and served by professional and polite wait staff.

What a great place to dine in the Hills District! Staff were under the pump as place was booked out, yet they were so great at recommending a wine to match my main and really lovely. Food was great and desert was so good! Will be back for sure.

Excellent location with views out over the norwest fountain lake, terrific lunch offer of $ 20 for steak, fish or chicken with a beer or a wine !! And all three offerings are delicious ! Very friendly quality service too. Recommend highly

What a great service and most important what a great food!!! We went to this restaurant tonight for my daughters Birthday dinner. Staff was excellent how they served us and the way they presented each dish!!! I was surprised by high level of presentation and test of their dishes! Highly recommended to visit this place if you are looking for great view, excellent and fast service and oh! Tasty dishes! For entrée we ordered calamari and prawns in separateplates-yamm, our main dishes Lamb, beef, pasta, fish, were brought in short time and in a big good portion, so any man would be happy to feel full tommy:)) They have good and well organised menu list which we could choose variety of entrées, mains and drinks with family of 6 person:) Also, I have to say this was weekday evening and restaurant was full, I previously booked the table before to come, I can imagine how full it’s on weekends, so better to book first to be sure there won’t be any disappointment:) Hope you will find my review useful

Went here last night with my husband and tornado 2 yr old daughter, they were very accomodating and set us on the table next to the fish tank with wraparound coushioned seating which made it real easy to keep the tornado in check me close to us… of course this didn’t prevent her from running off completely and hassling the waiters but it certainly made it easier… The food was fabulous. For entrée I had the seafood hotspot and hubby had the calamari, I had the mackerel special for main and hubby had the eye fillet. We also hade garlic bread which was pretty ordinary but the sourdough with macadamia dukkah was superb! We opted for the shaw and smith sav blanc which is always a good drop and they gladly made us some plain penne for the little miss who is fussy too. Deserts were great, had the semifredo with Oreo and cannoli with a glass of port each… Little miss got jealous so the waiter brought over some ‘baby port’(water in a port glass with a couple of drops of red cordial to colour it… she was super happy… we were super stuffed. Great food will definitely come back!

A rainy Sydney night apparently will not stop me, nor a restaurant full of people from having dinner in Bella Vista. FOOD Shared an entrée of sea scallops(seared wild north Atlantic sea scallops with cauliflower purée, almond crunch and herbed bellini — $ 22). These were absolutely lovely. I liked the almond crunch at the bottom of the scallop. Added some extra carby goodness. The cauliflower purée actually tasted more like a mashed potato as well. A great starting dish. We went with a surf and turf combo for the mains. Zuppa Di Pesce(hot pot of king prawns, calamari, fillet of fish, black mussels and balmain bug in a napolatan sauce with a hint of chili servied with linguine pasta — $ 38) and the Lamb Loin(rosemary and garlic marinated lamb loin on a fetta and roasted vegetable terrine and glaxed with a rosemary infused jus — $ 36). I’m usually a very indecisive person but the Zuppa Di Pesce immediately stood out to me. A very full on dish that would leave anyone stuffed. There was a very generous portion of seafood sitting on a base of linguine. If anything I think I would have wanted the ‘hint of chili’ to have been a bit more than just a hint to add a bit of power to the dish. The lamb was was nicely cooked and soft. However I wasn’t a fan of the terrine. It was a strange mix with the lamb. SERVICE When I handed over the credit card the waiter said«thank you señor». ??? Either I have a hearing problem or he was smart enough to know that it wasn’t my name on the credit card. Friendly waitstaff who thanked us for coming with their thick Italian accents in unison when we left. OVERALL Nice place, nice vibe, nice food.
