Amazing food, amazing service amazing Italian!!! My favorite restaurant in Bella Vista. Highly recommend visiting this restaurant. Plus OMG the wine menu is ridiculous, great taste!!!

Although i think this place is just a tad overpriced i do rate the food. I would give 4.5 stars if i could. Just cant give 5 due to the prices but hey you get what u pay for. Pizzas are delicious and the wines great too. Staff are super friendly. Well worth a visit as i have thoroughly enjoyed everything ive eaten here

Il Lago is easily the best restaurant on the edge of Norwest Lake. Its set up with heaps of indoor seating but also a great outdoor area that overlooks the lake and is still undercover.
The food is great value and I’ve never had a bad meal here. The menu isn’t at all pretentious like some of the other restaurants on that strip who try a little too hard to be posh.
I’ve been there in both large groups and with just one other and the service has always been great as well.
I would have given it 5 stars but on my last visit I had an unpleasant experience with the one of the waiters. I paid via credit card so they brought the mobile eftpos machine to the table as per usual these days. But then she placed it in front of me with ‘tip’ displayed on the machine and said, «This is where you put in how much of a tip you are going to leave».
Talk about presumptuous. We’re not in the USA where she’s on minimum wages and needs tips to survive. We have award wages and tips are purely discretionary for exceptional service. Putting the hard word on someone to leave a tip is pretty ordinary. But that aside it’s a great restaurant.
