Okay, I don’t know what it is about High Street Armadale but over the years it has attracted an enormous amount of superfluous galleries. I’m here to set the record straight — this is one of the best.
I wouldn’t classify it so much as a gallery, it’s more a poster store. You’ll get all sorts here — from vintage ads, to interesting Australian artwork, to old magazine covers. The best part is that the owner sells them out of the frame for a reduced price, though the prices are pretty affordable as it is. I went to a poster store just a few doors down and some of the prices were outrageous. If you have a spare spot on the wall for an eye-​catcher, I truly recommend this place.
