As any veteren op shopper will tell you
the size of the store rarely indicates the quality of the vintage.
In fact the more dilapidated and dubious the store looks
the more I feel compeled to look in.
And with good reason,
most of my too-​good-​to-​be-​true finds all come
from shady looking venues such as this one.
These places are less trawled through and with
perseverance you will usually come up with a couple
of clothing gems.
…yeah actually I would much prefer you not to go to darken this doorstep,
I need all the $ 3 skirts I can get!

The Aid for the Blind Op Shop is a modest little op shop slotted in along Annerley Road. This place is just like an ordinary op shop, except that the proceeds from this one go towards helping people who are blind or vision impaired in Queensland. The funds from this place help fund vocational and social initiatives for these people for future opportunities.
