Interesting place. Menu is extensive, with Turkish, Italian, Mexican, and a couple of Chinese dishes all available. 50cl draft beer is 13tl, cocktails are all at 19tl, main dishes range from 15tl to 35tl. So, pricewise, it’s in the realm of what I don’t mind spending on dinner. The waitstaff is — how can I put this? — American-like. They constantly check on you, and at least 3 people were serving us over the 2 hours we stayed. Concerned for our wellbeing and satisfaction, to a degree I have not witnessed in Istanbul so far. We were even recommended a mushroom appetizer, that, while not amazing, was decent. The waiter who recommended it came over to check to make sure we liked it, and described the details of its innards. Okay, then. Even though the place was totally full when we arrived at 9, we said we were eating food and they expedited us. We waited just 10 minutes for a seat, which I really thought was excellent. The only real drawback of this place is that the food is not mind-blowing if you compare it to its presentation, atmosphere, and value. Your expectations are high. There is a whole lot of hullabaloo about nothing at this place, that is for sure. When the bill came, all things considered, I was not really feeling like it was worth the price tag. Still, I would go back with friends or family perhaps, truly a local, trendy Kadikoy place.
