Good food, with an even better view over the Bosphorus.
Everything is a bit pricy, due to the location of the restaurant, but it is certainly worth the visit.
Enjoy your meal, while sitting in the middle of a historic surrounding, and when the sun is shining, it makes it all even better.

This restaurant has an impeccable view from the Bosphorus. The food is great and so is the service. Because of the view, everything is pricey, but it’s worth it.

The restaurant is located inside the Topkapi palace, at the last courtyard. The views of the Bosphorus and the Asian side are breathtaking, you can’t beat that. They have good food, especially their döner kebab. There is a self service section as well as a-​la-​carte section where you can order from to menu and be served by waiters. You can also go there for a coffee with a great view. The restaurant is closed at night and on Tuesdays, when the palace is closed to visitors. The biggest downside of the restaurant is that it’s too expensive. By the way, no alcohol is served.

Amazing views, ok food but the service and surroundings made up for it. Expensive compared to other outside restaurants. You have to buy the ticket for the topkapi palace first since its inside.

This restaurant is inside the palace and has wonderful views of the harbor. Try to snag a table outside to take in the views. Note that it can get very windy out there! so if you can’t handle that, they also have a semi-​outdoor area that has glass window to protect you from the wind.
The view is the attraction of this place. The food is mediocre at best. The service is nice and the plating of the food is original and very good… but the food itself leaves a lot to be desired. It is completely overpriced for what it is, which is very disappointing.
Would I come back here for the view? Yes! Would I come hungry? No, the food is just not worth it, have some drinks and go eat somewhere else

Meine Freundin hat es mir empfohlen. Habe Iskender bestellt. Das essen war kalt das Fleisch nicht lecker. Das Restaurant. Hat nur einen guten Ruf sonst nichts.

I have been in this restaurant when I traveled to Turkye. The food is very good cooked and the attention is worderfull, and the views surprising. I recomend it.

Eine Touristenfalle wie sie im Buche steht. Das einzige Lokal im Palast und dementsprechen koennen sie auch Preise setzen, wie es ihnen passt.
Das Witzige daran ist: genau hinter der Palastmauer ist auch ein Lokal /​Teehaus. Das kann man durch den Park erreichen (immer geradeaus) und dort kostet ein Samowar Tee fuer 4 so viel wie zwei Tees im Palast und die Aussicht ist schoener weil man bis zum Galataturm sieht.

Traumhafte Lage mit phantastischem Blick der sich wirklich lohnt. Ob 2 Cola und 2 Döner bei diesem Blick 60 Lira Wert sind muss jeder für sich selbst entscheiden…

Traumhafte lage im Topkapi Palast mit einem ebenso traumhaften Blick über den Bospurus. Das Essen ist gut, wenn auch nichts besonderes. Entsprechend der Lage auch nicht gerade günstig. Der Service könnte zudem freundlicher sein. Aber dank der Aussicht noch 4 Sterne.

Dieses Restaurant liegt im Topkapi Palast und hat einen Aussenbereich und einen Innebereich mit ebenso schönem Panoramablick auf das Wasser und die Asiatische Uferseite Istanbuls.
Im Aussenbereich kann man Kantinenähnlich mit Tablett und alles was man sieht an der Wärmetheke und kalten Theke und Süßigkeiten und Kuchentheke kaufen, günstiger als à la carte im Restaurant innen, bezahlen und auch draussen oder drinnen hinsetzen. Im Restaurant kann man auch verschiedene Preisklassen wohl bestellen und essen. Es gibt einen Bereich für Gäste mit «Kantinenessen» dann mit Tagesgerichten und die schönsten Plätze für die Restaurantgäste.
Ich ließ mir einen schönen Platz mit Aussicht und Sonnenschein geben. Sehr schön, sehet auf den Fotos. Der Service sehr freundlich und höflich auch auf Englisch. Die Karte hat eine größere Auswahl an Fisch und Fleisch und Vorspeisen. Die Hauptgerichte sind hier schon mal teurer als ich erwartete. Aber die Qualität des Essens hat es voll ausgezahlt. Es war sehr lecker und es gab zum Gericht 4 Schälchen mit Kräutern. Pfefferminze, andere Kräuter und Chilli und noch mehr Gewürze, könnte Oregano oder Koriander gewesen sein.
Für den Vorspeisensalat, der RIESIG war und sehr lecker bekam man gleich ein Set aus verschiedenen Ölen und verschiedenen Essig und Zitronensaft-​Flaschen. Es war wirklich lecker!
Dieses Restaurant kriegt volle 5 Sterne.
Sehr positiv fand ich nach dem Besuch heraus, dass dieses Restaurant von meinem mitgebrachten Istanbul-​Stadt-​Reiseführer National Geographic Explorer empfohlen wird!
