What an incredible bar! Apparently the place was an old hideout of Nazi soldiers back in WWII and the age of the building looks to be well over 200+ years old. It has amazing charm and is a great place to get a beer. We were there early in the evening, there were plenty of seats, and I could myself as a regular here.

The best part of Karga is how surprising it all is. The door is completely hidden, and I generally need help to find it. When you go in, you’ll be met with 4 (or 5?) floors of coolness. Mirrors, fireplaces, brick walls– all so charming. The place is always packed, but there also always seems to be space, somewhere. Every time I’ve been, it’s been a different experience, so I’d say it has some «replay» value. I love Karga. Hopefully they let me in next time because we forgot to pay for our beers last time.
If they do, I’ll try to arrange 6 stars for this hole-​in-​the-​wall that is actually an amazing labyrinth of excitement.
