Amazing food, great service, they speak English for tourists… Five stars from me (and my super white/​American boyfriend). We got a whole bunch of food for $ 40 USD, came with mezes (tapas) and we had dessert as well.

I really love the saslik kebab here. It’s thin slices of fillet and onions on skewer. Haven’t tried anything else, since I’m always tempted to eat it again. Lovely small place with excellent service, I wish it was not on this shitty neighborhood. So go for a quick grab not for a long night.

Chosen based on Unilocal reviews and distance. I was not near disappointed! Two of us ordered mixed meze platter as a starter, mix grill platter and Ayran as a drink. Great local food, very friendly staff. Surely nice modern local turkish experience. Tip: add Sumaq and hot pepper flakes to whatever you feel like, it’s amazing!

This is not Raza but rather his wife writing my first review. Where do I start about this restaurant located around the corner from our hotel. We stayed in istanbul for a week and came here on four different occasions to order different things. We had their warm fresh pita, appetizer sampler which is a must if you go so you can have a taste of everything– which has a delicious tomato dip full of flavor among everything else on the plate, Adana kabobs, ali nazik lamb dish, tea, coffee and the BEST chocolate soufflé I have ever had! The servers speak English and give great suggestions. This place definitely deserves 5 stars.

This place offers ok kebabs and typical mezze. I found the food to be a bit average and in a non very authentic place that i did not like so much. The nice thing is that you have a terrace.
So the quality of food is ok but average and i really did not have any surprise or particularly tasty food here. But you can still have an ok kebab if you are in the area (but prices are not particularly low though).

Great restaurant with quality food and service. We eat at Faros restaurants every time we visit Istanbul and every time we enjoy the food, the drinks and the atmosphere.
We will go back again and we recommend it.

The portions here were large. Between 2 people we ordered 2 lentil soups, hummus and an adana kebap plate. It was just the right amount of food. The lentil soup was well spiced and tasted great. I would be happy to go here again.

Staff was very friendly, especially Unal! We had a great meal here, especially great for vegetarians. Really like the hallumi salad, the lentil soup and cacik! Bread is made fresh, you can watch while you’re eating. A great find as most restaurants so close to a hotel area wouldn’t be that great.

This place is really good! The street seating is lovely, and the menu has a nice range of options. We had the starter plate, and the vegetable pide, and both are excellent. The server was very sharp and spoke excellent English.

Super friendly staff. Fantastic food. I had the appetizer sampler and the falafel. I ate it all myself it was that good!!! Good wine. Close to hotels and super comfortable for tourists or business people traveling alone (like me).

We ate here twice and had a good experience, then a very disappointing one. The first visit was pleasant and the food was good. We ordered the hollumi salad and maze plate. The waiter was fair, not really very attentive, but not bad. The 2 star rating is a result of the second visit. The same waiter served us but completely ignored us for most of the lunch. We asked for olive oil, which he didn’t bring, and completely left us even though the place was empty. The food was very so-​so and it seemed like the place was just a tourist trap. I do not recommend.

We had the best beef on our Turkey trip here! Sooo juicy and tasty, with caramelized red onion and freshly baked Turkish bread… we went back the next day as it was so good! They have a super tasty dessert too, that I don’t remember the name of, but just melted on my mouth! Staff is super friendly, cracked jokes and contributed to a great night! Spirits on the expensive side, but that might just be Istanbul in general.
Would highly recommend this restaurant when in Taksim!

Excellent!
Had one of my best meals in Istanbul here.
The room is comfortable, modern, and pleasant. Service is friendly and attentive. There is a nice selection of wines. Sampled several things from the menu, and each dish was well prepared and had very clean fresh flavors. The quince with cream for dessert was a standout.
Highly Recommended!
