After a day of walking through the throngs of carpet salesmen and the on again off again scents of kebabs cooking and the endless hawkers selling everything from fake j’adore to really smelly fish sandwiches, come find your happy place. This unnoticed and unobtrusive restaurant has some of the best Italian fare north of the alps. From the outside it looks like an old elegant hotel, which it was back in the day. It still retains its old world charm while engaging the experience with excellent cuisine and wine selections. We had the spaghetti carbonara and zuppe di verdura. They were both superb! Faruk, our waiter, was attentive but not hovering. All in all we were refreshed and reinvigorated when we finally left to rejoin the fray. I highly recommend this place and a visit to the spice bazaar which is next door. Enjoy and tashekur for listening.
