Anjelique

Anjelique ist eins meiner Lieblingsclubs in Istanbul, schon seit Jahren. Ich habe hier ein paar sehr tolle und lange Nächte verbracht in meiner «Jugend» :-)
Direkt am Bosphorus, in Ortaköy, mit Ausblick auf die Ortaköy Moschee, der 1. Brücke und dem Maiden Tower ist die Location natürlich PERFEKT. Was will man mehr?
Es ist eigentlich auch ein Restaurant und verwandelt sich in den späteren Stunden in eine Lounge /​Nachtclub und ist auf 3 Etagen verteilt. Die Musik ist auch etwas anders auf jeder Etage. Die mittlere Etage, bzw. der Eingang spielt mehr Lounge /​House und ist etwas chilliger. Unten wird mehr Mainstream gespielt von Internationeln Chartstürmern zu Türkischen populären Songs. Da ein Großteil des Clubs ‘oben ohne’ ist, ist es hier beliebter in den Sommermonaten.
Das Restaurant bietet eine Internationale Küche an von Sushi bis zu Türkischen Spezialitäten. Es ist eine Location für Touristen sowie auch für heimische und auch sehr begehrt unter den Istanbuler Nachteulen!
Dieses Wochenende war ich auf einer Hochzeitsfeier und habe es bei Tageslicht auch mal gesehen. Ich war wieder von der Schönheit von der Stadt am Bosphorus hin und weggerissen! Einfach traumhaft hier…

Totally overrated! Starting from the arrogant door, to the poor quality of cocktails and the measly performed service the only positive left is the view you have from this place.
About 6 years ago I used to come often to this place and was really disappointed when coming back this time.
In fact after 2 badly mixed cocktails we left and went uphill to Sunset where we had taken our dinner before and spent the rest of the night in their bar which I can recommend as a much better alternative.
Sorry Anjelique, but door, service, quality and price performance have become really bad — you definitely have to change for the better!

let’s just say crew was for sure falling from fleek on this god for saken night. rando most likely drug dealing danish dudes bought us a table here and proceeded to probably steal my go pro… yeah no that was really all on me. bitches love cashmere?

I don’t understand how people could have fun here. There is no dance floor and the vibe feels more like a bar/​lounge than a nightclub. Crowd is older than I expected, and people mostly only socialize with the group they come with. So if you’re young and want to dance, Anjelique may not live up to your expectations.
On the positive side, view of the Bosphorus is quite nice.

The breast of duck was excellent, the view from the restaurant was fantastic. I recommend asking for a seat next to window when making your reservation (do call ahead of time for a reservation). The outside bar makes a fantastic place to have an after dinner drink while watching the lights of Istanbul. Trendy house music plays in the bar area, people do dress up for this place.

Housed in a 3 storeyed waterfront residence facing a captivating scenery, Anjelique can be shown as a strong rival to Vogue. Chosen as the Best Bar in 2005 by Timeout, it hosts worldwide DJs and dancers on special occasions. Mediterranean and World cuisine dominate the menu and offers an additional menu of 60 different types of sushi. At night, the white tables and decoration is supported by dim lighting. It is very international and a dress code is enforced at the entrance.
