Timboo Cafe

Classic modern bistro restaurant menu with lots of choices. Doesn’t feel special but food is good, service is nice and fast. I would prefer it than any big franchise.

Anti-​stress juice tastes like a grape jolly rancher. Basil Ayran is like pesto in a glass, so delicious. The cashew chicken was alright.

I want to give at least 3,5 stars because the fresh juice menu was better than most places I’ve visited! I ordered the Detox and was pleased… where can I get fresh celery in Ankara?! I could really taste it in my drink, which had a lovely orange color to remind me of summer (because autumn is here).
Five stars since drinks are served in an almost mason style glass jar! Where’s my red and white gingham ribbon, tied around the neck? That would have been icing on the packaged cake!
The décor is whimsical with its vivid colors. The floor tiles plus tables and chairs reminded me of a picturesque Hershey, Pennsylvania diner … ironic since this is a franchise /​chain. I could do without the Warhol-​inspired wall installation of hundreds of canned food… but I like the bright red fire hose box. The opposite wall features lots of imported condiments for sale: HP sauce, Nutella, mustard, etc. but no peanut butter.
Four stars for retro US pop hits by Bobby Darin and his peers. My mates and I sang along as we waited for our orders. This place seems good for children /​families.
