We flew from the USA half-way around the world to visit the lovely and magnificent daughter Jennifer who teaches English at the 40,000+ student University here in Ankara, and is getting married this week. To have a little taste of home in such a place is a great comfort. Especially in view of the eclectic totality of the people who will frequent this one.
This one is Just like any other starbucks with the same coffee flavors, but with an additional choice of local pastries. You can reach it from the shopping center side by going downstairs. You might miss it if you didn’t know it was there from this entry. But it has another entry with the sheltered outdoor seating (it does get cold and snowy here), and plenty of indoor as well. I had a grande caramel macchiato that tasted as delicious as any other I’ve had in the world. The only thing I’m missing is an international Gold Card!
Well recommended. I will return anytime visiting the University.
