This place is located in the upscale food court of the Bilkent Center(shopping market) on the campus of Bilkent University. Our party of eight arrived and was seated in a very long table with the bench and some chairs were quickly attended to by an excellent friendly Staff willing to be patient with our local translator. The menu and food here has improved over the years and is now an authentic Kumpir restaurant one of the best around as far as I could tell for the short time we were there. Two of us split a really excellent baked potato with with the Mediterranean salad, accompanied by an assortment tray of fresh squeezed lemon juice, olive oil, and a dressing. Although the potato with cheese, jalapenos, olives, etc., was by itself well prepared, we did add vegetables(mushrooms, carrots, etc.) from another plate to increase the portions for the two of us. Along with the salad, which was also well prepared, and with the fresh dressing we were well pleased with the result. Although we are not sure if it was the size of our party, our elderly member, or the impending wedding, or a combination of all the above… the staff went out of their way to ensure we were satisfied. They even threw in free Turkish Coffee or tea after our entrees. Well recommended. We will return during future visits to the University.
