This place is a pretty well-​known Turkish pub in Ankara, especially for university students. They have a cute ambiance with wooden booths and colorful lambs. However, it’s just an OK place, at least for these days. It’s a self-​service place, which I don’t prefer much. They have some problems with the orders and the kitchen. Somehow, a simple fries wasn’t able to be delivered in 50 min and the guy in the kitchen freaked out when the cashier have told him about this delay. I’m actually not that sure about hygiene, either. But it’s still one of the most popular places for «kokorec”-beer pair, if your expectations are not that high.

Used to be a decent place, but got food poisoning from the kumpir. I think that is unacceptable but some Turkish friends are much more forgiving about hygiene/​food safety. It is still a decent place to get a beer.

This is Ankara’ s finest. This is a fine pub with decent prices. Serves where nice home style cooked food during the lunch service and bar food in the evening service. If you are a first timer, I suggest you to try the kokorec… Once you eat you will discover what it is…
