Cuppin’s

This place is cute and the staff are nice. The cupcakes themselves come in a variety of interesting flavors but nothing really stood out to me. If I’m back in Lausanne I may go back here but there are better places to satisfy my sweet tooth.

Found a cute little cupcake and coffee shop at the end of Rue de Petit Chene. It was bright and sunny, thanks to the walls of windows all around. The colors were vibrant and offset by clean white displays and tables. The cupcakes were delicious looking! I couldn’t try one since none were dairy-​free, but they tempted me. I got an herbal tea and tried to relax a bit and take my time, since I bought a tea for almost $ 4. However, it is a busy shop and, though I wasn’t rushed out, I felt obliged to give up my seat and leave prematurely so that the next cupcake lover could have a seat. It was a cute, very feminine shop, filled with chatting women. It would be a nice place to come to have coffee with a girlfriend, so long as you just want a brief chat. Plus, you will work off that cupcake in advance so long as you start your trek at the bottom of the hill!

Le Cuppin’s Tea House & Cupcakes est l’endroit cosy et girly incontournable pour passer un bon moment à papoter entre amies autour d’une bonne gourmandise et d’une tasse de thé et plus si affinités.
Coups de cœur pour les cupcakes Caramelimelo (Caramel beurre salé) et Pommes d’épices (un cake aux épices fourré aux pommes) un vrai régal ! En plus du salon de thés, Cuppin’s est aussi une jolie boutique. Vous pouvez faire du shopping tout en dégustant un cupcake. C’est le paradis !

Just found this amazing place in Lausanne! This place takes me back to the US with some delicious Cupcakes and drink options!
Atmosphere ⁵⁄₅: NYC in a 50 square meter commercial property? Yes it is possible! Purple Wallpapers, Chandelier and Music are the perfect mix to feel you back in the US!
Food ⁵⁄₅: I’m picky in terms of desserts to eat but I have to admit the owners did an amazing job at creating the perfect Cupcake, not too sugary but so tasty! I actually think they’re even better than in some places in the US! You also have a Granola Yogurt for Breakfast with your Latté that you can take it «To-​Go» American style!
Service ⁵⁄₅: The owners are really nice people and help U find the right cupcake that will enlighten your day!
If you’re in Lausanne, this is a MUST-​go place! Yes I insist! ;-)

Un petit cupcake tout facile d’accès: descendre la rue du Petit Chêné et prenez la première à droite, juste à côté du shop de tatoo. La déco se décline sous une variations de violacés et de blancs veloutés. Les cupcakes existent en taille mini (une bouchée) ou standard. J’ai payé mon mini 2.50 CHF pièce. Il était tout léger, parfait pour la route ! Il y a très peu de place assise. Je n’ai pas encore eu l’occasion de tester plus longtemps, mais les parfums ont l’air savoureux: Choc’oh là là, Super-​Framboi-​Calistic, Black Velvet En tout cas, la dame qui m’a servie était très sympa. Je reviendrai pour tester le surplace ! ^^ EDIT: Voilà, ça fait déjà quelques temps que j’y retourne très régulièrement ! C’est que les petites éditions limitées de la semaine sont vraiment exquis (litchi-​rose, lavande, abricot-​marron !) ! J’ai déjà rempli une carte de fidélité ! Ahlàlà, je suis droguée ! Entre-​temps, j’ai pu déguster d’autres bars à cupcakes, mais je crois que c’est celui-​ci qui reste mon préféré aux niveau des saveurs, de la texture, du lieu, des prix et de l’accueil ! =) Pff, rien que d’y penser, j’ai envie d’y retourner, retrouver mon thé des elfes avec un gros cupcake à 4.50 CHF ! ^^ Bref, je suis totalement gaga du Poppin’s ! (Et je me sens un peu mal pour le concurrent à la Cité !)
