Found this place as we were on our way to the flea market on Erlenmatt. The neighbor is a bit «grittier» than the rest of Basel, but it seems to have a good selection of «cheap eats» (at least in Swiss terms). This is your standard doner kebab (several variations offered) place. We ordered 2 doners with the chicken schwarma. They toast the bread, fill it with the meat, then we selected our toppings. I opted for chili sauce, ketchup/​mayo sauce (yes, I did), salad w/​olives, and tomatoes. Tasty and filling.
