I’ve been here dozens of times. Good flavors and interesting dishes. A great lunch spot for those that want something different. I appreciate that they regularly introduce new dishes so you get some variety. It gets very busy during lunch time so be there early, go for a late lunch, or order online through their app. In any case it’s worth the wait. PS if you’re extra hungry you can pay a little extra for a larger portion. Price is high but I would say it’s average for a good lunch in central Malmö. Quality is always good.

I would almost say this was the best burger of my live. Very friendly and fast service. My husband ate the vegetarian meal. Also perfect. Come in and find a delicious place for a short break near the main points.

This little place is amazing. We found it on Unilocal, but knew it was going to be delicious when it was PACKED for dinner on a Tuesday night with Swedes eating there and getting food to go. It’s got a small café vibe(coffee & biscotti), but will serve you a hearty dinner at a price that agrees with a college budget(85 – 95SEK/$ 11 – 12). The menu was a choice among 5 dishes– you couldn’t go wrong with any: pulled pork burger with fresh coleslaw, pork stew with a horseradish sauce,(Italian-style) meatballs in tomato sauce, and a vegetarian vegetable casserole/soup dish. The same guy takes your order, cooks your food, and serves it to you under 20 minutes, all while he’s serving other customers alone and bussing dishes of the happy people done eating. I definitely recommend the meatballs if he has them again. The tomato sauce alone had so much flavor, the meatballs were juicy and still a little pink, and it was topped with fresh arugula with a slice of fresh bread on the side to soak up anything left. We were stuffed by the end– flavorful and filling. Will definitely come back if I’m ever in Malmö again.

My number 1 dinner restaurant when I can’t cook for myself. Healthy hearty meals with a good balance between meat and vegetables. They have a small but regularly rotating menu, which means they can focus on high quality and short preparation times. It’s great :)

My struggle for work day lunch is finding a nearby place with reasonable prices that has take away. My office is in a boring part of town(food-wise), so today I ventured further afield and found Hagen in Davidshall. Their menu is small, which I really like(focus on making a few things well, I say), the prices are reasonable for the area, and they have takeaway! I had the vegetarian gumbo, it was good, however it did not resemble anything that I have ever seen called gumbo(can it really be gumbo without okra?!). But, despite the un-authenticity it was good food! The spice level what what you would expect of a restaurant in Sweden… as was the customer service. I am pleased to have found a local restaurant that serves interesting food.
