Gyllenborgens Mat

I absolutely loved everythingggg about this place! It just oozes that cosy, charming European feeling that Americans love when they come over to this side of the pond. The food was SO GOOD! Apparently, a young Swedish couple who worked in France for a long time came back to Sweden to open their own restaurant and this place was the result. Needless to say, the result is awesome! You can definitely tell that these people love food. Consequently, so do I! So, that works out nicely. =)
Weirdly enough, I’m going to highly recommend the sandwich (macka) for dinner! If there was ever a savory dinner sandwich… this is it! HOLY YUM-​TASTIC! I also tried the Lingon Potaoes… OMG. Foodgasm! The desert of the week (last week) was simply heaven, so be sure to ask about what they have.
A fellow Unilocal pal recommended that we split the sandwich and order another main dish each, or two just two main dishes each (since they are a bit on the small side yet still a little larger than tapas style serving sizes). I totally agree with her!
Also, I just have to say that the prices were also perfect! Even the bottle of wine we had (that wasn’t too bad) was under 400kr! Since I live only a train stop away from here… I should really just open up a running tab at this joint! I will definitely be back here!!! Often.
