I was on my own in Stockholm and looking for a place to have a(relatively) inexpensive and good meal — no easy feat in this city! After reading a few reviews, I came to Bishop Arms. It was a Wednesday night, and the bar(particularly the dining area) was jammed! I lined up for a table, and the server assured me that people were just leaving. I waited about 5 minutes, and the waiter continuously apologized — and also booted someone who tried to steal my table! I had the home cooked meal of the day — cheapest thing in the menu — which happened to be fish stew. Very well done! Really enjoyed it. Give this place a shot if you’ve got some time, don’t want to spend too much, like a massive beer selection, and don’t feel like fast food.

Terrible food and extremely cheap restaurant as they charged 15 sek for additional sauce. If you ever have to go here, think again and don’t eat.

Really friendly service. Staff seems like they’re just having fun. A ridiculous amount of whisky and beer on the menu. I had the salmon it was pretty good as well. Plus free WiFi

OK place for having dinner. The food was ok, I only give it 3 stars because there was only one waiter for many tables. But the guy was very friendly and nice, and we followed his recommendation about local beers, which was quite good and different.

The Bishops Arms location near central station downtown. Not as good ambiance wise or beer wise as the Folkungagatan location, but still very nice. Tap selection was pretty good– local craft beer focused. Maybe a few British casks to keep the UK pub theme going. Bottle list is extensive with many refrigerators full of oddball stuff. Strange Mikkeller stuff I’ve never heard of, even some Three Floyds and Alesmith bottles believe it or not. Very impressive. Staff was very friendly, provided recommendations. Food was pretty good– lots of typical Swedish dishes including venison meatballs.

Everything else was closed, it was some very late hour when I should have just gone back to my hotel. Another beer sounded like a good idea, after getting a bit lost and finding this place I ended up with a couple good pints of beer. I was flying solo, and this place hit the spot. Met a couple cool locals here and talked for a bit, had a couple good pints of English beer and moved on.

Irish-pub like bar with a huge amount of different whiskeys and also a number of local beers. Very expensive as it is typical for swedish bars. Self-service and a nice atmosphere.

Amazing scotch selection! There are some real classics here and you should come and sit to savor! Menu is solid and the service is pretty good. My faves are fish and chips and the burger. But its all good. Excellent tap beer selection as well. Summer is great, the walls open up and there are table outside. Nice way to spend an evening with friends and enjoy!

Everytime again, I’m shocked about the privelevel for regular drinks and beers in swedish bars. But despite this, Bishops Arms is a rather simple Irish Pub, close to the Arlanda Express Station. The bars offers several kinds of beer from several countries. There is free WiFi available. And thats almost all I can state. Well, service was really great I treated myself well, it’s selfservice ;)

This review is for beer and ambiance only– we did not have time to eat here while on vacation in the neighborhood. This fine pub was right down the street from our hotel, so we stopped in for a couple of pints one evening. The beer selection was excellent, if a bit heavy on hoppy beers(the American IPA«arms race» is spreading, which is either awesome or terrible, depending on your taste). I was flabbergasted by the Scotch selection, though. There were shelves and shelves of the liquid peat candy, and I think I lost count of them all. Highly recommended if you’re a Scotch snob, or just like to belly up to the bar for a quick pint. Friendly bartenders and comfortable surroundings.
