Disclaimer: I’m an American who has lived in Brooklyn, bagel capital of the world. I’ve eaten here three times now. To summarize my feelings: cold customer service lowers my rating sufficiently, plus I think they give way too little cream cheese with the Dr Phil. But a nice fika/homework spot. All the times I’ve eaten here I’ve been served by the same employees who seem utterly disinterested in their jobs or the customers, sort of like they’re too cool to care. This place would be cozy with a little warmth from the people who work here. It makes it feel much more like a chain restaurant that doesn’t invest much in customer service. I was also disappointed with the amount of cream cheese one gets with a plain bagel(the Dr Phil). It’s like barely enough to cover the bread. This however may just be a cultural difference; in Brooklyn you get a lot of cream cheese on a bagel! Overall I was left with the feeling that they give you as little as possible at this place. A little extra like a genuine smile from the staff and a little extra cream cheese goes a long way in my book. Also, avoid the Louisiana BBQ bagel. Totally the weirdest thing I’ve eaten in a while, and not in a good way. Probably the more traditional choices are better. Positives? Yummy big bagels, a relaxed fika spot a little off the main drag. Always a seat, free wifi, and a nice place to work on your laptop, do homework, etc.

Friendly owners/staff, nice large seating area. But disappointed that there was no choice of bagel(only plain) and no kapers available for my lax bagel.
