Tele2 is so beautiful when approached from arenavägen at night. I guess it might not sit well with everyone but I really think it is magnificent. Of course what you see at Tele2 will vastly influence how well you think it suits as a venue but when I compare the concert I saw there versus at Annexet the differences are insane. First I found all the staff to be very friendly and helpful — from the entry guards to the ticket scanners and the bar staff everyone just seemed to be in a good mood and making sure you had a good night. When I went to leave the arena they of course made sure I knew I couldn’t get back in but also saw that I was in a t-shirt and made sure I didn’t forget my jacket. That’s a point in my book. The food at the venue wasn’t too great but that’s not uncommon. Otherwise all the logistics of the place seemed to be well thought out. It’s hard to comment too much on the specifics of a particular event because I suppose it varies so much from the type of performance but I think this place has all the essentials to make your evening great! Too bad it has such a lame name.

Typisches modernes Fußballstadion, austauschbar ohne wirklichen Wiedererkennungswert.

A great arena for both sports and music events. The closeable roof feature makes the arena a possible host of a wide range of different events year around, and wont be a victim of the harsh winter. Its neither to big nor small and they have a great possibility to size it depending on current needs. Seats are pretty comfy, but i miss the cup holder. You can tell that its a new arena since the logistics in and around it is really good. You will get in and out quick without to much hassle!

Fun entertainment for the whole family! Go here if you want to experience a European fotbol(soccer) game! The roof will be open in warn weather! In the winter they close the roof for shows, concerts and events. Underneath you can find a variety of new restaurants! It houses the largest o’Leary’s in Stockholm with browning, mini golf, bar, restaurant, ping pong and pool. It also has a fast casual healthy restaurant(with many gluten free options) which is next to a delicious frozen yogurt bar! They also have an upscale pizza restaurant, a deli style restaurant, and a big wine bar!

The newly built multi-purpose arena close to Globen, officially named Tele2 Arena but popularly called the new Stockholm Stadium in recognition of Djurgårdens IF the only top division team to play at the stadium, is an excellent stadium for football. It has a capacity of around 30000 at two levels and while it looks a bit dull and grey but the atmosphere when there is a game on is excellent. Great transport links with multiple tube stations, tram(Tvärbana) and buses close by make it easy to get there and away. Food selection is decent and prices are not outrageous(not cheap either though) and quality is good for this type of venue. All in all it is a really good stadium, perhaps not with the charm of the old Stockholms stadion but still very like-able.
