Strandbryggan

I’m going to start by saying that this was one of the loveliest meals and evenings I had during the entire summer holiday. My friends and I have arrived in Stockholm earlier that day and made an attempt to do some exploring. We were tired, the open museum we visited really wasn’t too brilliant… and our hearts really weren’t in tourist-​mode. We decided to look for food. We were walking across the bridge to head back into the city and we were just admiring the view when we spotted this classy looking river-​side restaurant and decided to take a look.
It was the snazzy speedboat that initially caught our attention. Then the sun lounger deck. And then the menu. We had decided unanimously that this was going to be our home for the evening! The restaurant and wine bar has lounge areas for people to sit and enjoy a glass of wine and bar snacks, as well as the seating in the restaurant. It’s such a gorgeous place but especially so due to the lovely sunny weather.
We were shown to our table and started off with our bread, crackers and a cool, creamy dip. Plenty fibre in that bread, let me tell you. Seeds a’plenty. The menu is fairly limited as the restaurant isn’t particularly big, but everything sounded really delicious and there was a good variety of options.
If the menu stays the same as it was when I was there recently then I highly recommend the sesame tuna. Everything we ate was absolutely delicious but that absolutely blew me away!
This was my favourite restaurant from my Euro trip this summer and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone! Gorgeous food, reasonable prices, lovely staff and a stunning setting!

Other than location close to the Vasa museum and park area nothing special here. For those visiting for first time, You order when come down the plank. You get timer that will buzz when food is ready.
Three dining today. Couple if BBQ burger plates and fish. Nothing we had was special. In fact the two burgers came out under cooked and cool to touch. Not even close enough to call warm. Since we were in a hurry and visiting I chose not to offend anyone by returning it. Ate 50% and left.
Service was good and two beautiful women working front and tables. Overall average which was pulled up due to friendly faces. If your in the area and hungry it’s worth a shot.

Reizvoll gelegen am piekfeinen Strandvägen gegenüber von Djurgården auf schwimmenden Pontons mit ein Anzahl Bootsanlegern versehen, kam ich mit meiner Begleiterin am Midsommar-​Wochenende hierher zu Abendbrot zu essen. Vorahnungen von dramatisch hohen Preisen ob der schicken Aufmachung der Lokalität stellten sich erfreuerlicherweise als falsch dar, da es hier ein Selbstdienungssystem mit Pagern gibt, wie er der ein oder andere vielleicht aus dem italienischen Schnellimbiss Vampiano her kennt.
Dies erfreuerlicherweise aber auch die einzige Gemeinsamkeit, da die Unannehmlichkeiten beim Abholen des eigenen Essen auch schon endeten. So konnten wir direkt am Wasser auf gemütlichen Sessel unser Essen aus dem Bistro-​Preissegment verzehren:
1. Ugnsbakad lax med rödbetor och chèvreost (im Ofen gebackener Lachs mit roter Bete und Ziegenkäse) für 192 kr: gelungene sommerliche Komposition mit harmonisch abgewogenen Zutaten und offenbar ziemlich frischen, geschmackvollen Zutaten
2. Bbq-​grillad burgare (Burger nach Barbeque-​Art mit Pommes, Cheddar, Kohlsalat und Dijonsenf) für 178 kr: laut meiner Begleiterin sehr gut und eigentlich zu große Portion, auch wieder mit großartiger Zusammenstellung
Summa summarum war es ein schöner Abend, an dem es dank der nördlichen Lage noch lange hell und lauwarm blieb, was auch den eher hohen Preisspiegel für die örtliche Gastronomie inkl. alkoholischen Getränken (dank Systembolaget) vergessen ließ und mehr Lust auf Stockholm gemacht hat.

I had one of those pinch me moments while I was at Strandbryggan this past summer. There I was, little old me from the LA suburbs enjoying a prawn open sandwich and glass of Moet champagne, in the sunshine, on a boat surrounded by people I love and beautiful strangers in breathtaking Stockholm. The city is truly amazing and this place is one that I recommend all tourists to Stockholm visit. The sandwich was delicious, but the atmosphere and surroundings are what really make this place perfect.

Ein toller Platz, um die Sonne, Stockholm und einen Drink zu genießen. Der Club hat ab dem späten Nachmittag einen Türsteher. Der Preis für einen Aperol-​Spritz liegt bei ca. 15 Euro.

Eine wunderschöné Anlage, direkt über dem Wasser, bestehend aus einem Restaurant, einer Bar, einer Lounge und einem Bootsverleih. Sehr edel, mit grossem Drink und Spirituosen-​Angebot.
