Sandys

I love Sandy’s. I wish I liked this one better. But I don’t.
There used to be a Sandy’s on Folkungagatan, and it was very clean and cosy and seemed to have a better selection. The one on Götgatan is very very small, with just four teeny tiny tables, and it’s always pretty crowded, even if there’s hardly anyone there.
Last time I went they didn’t have their daily special either — some sort of problem kept the system from updating so a lot of regular customers were left pretty upset by the lack of the daily deal.
The staff are nice enough, but unremarkable. They usually seem stressed and in a hurry, and kind of confused even.
The sofas and chairs look old and dirty, and although there are two tables outside, they’re not very clean either, and there’s no trashcan there so people end up leaving wrappers all over the place.
There’s a pretty steady flow of hurried lunchtime customers going in and out, and I can’t imagine trying to work from here, either — too tight, claustrophobic, and busy.
I do recommend Sandy’s — it’s kind of like Subway only with more Swedish flavours — but not this location. Go elsewhere!
