Riche

A place to see and be seen! Riche is an excellent choice for lunch whilst shopping or pre-​dinner drinks with friends. For lunch try to get a table by the windows, for drinks, nothing beats the bar.
Starters: Always say yes to the cheese plate, it’s a great selection but you’ll need to ask for extra toast. The duck terrine is good and came with all the needed accoutrements.
Entrees: If you’re going to try Swedish meatballs, this is an excellent place for it — the portion isn’t overbearing and the side of whipped potatoes is excellent. Moules Frites are also very good according to companion.
To drink: I tend to stick to wine here, the cocktails are good but the wine list is extensive and the staff are knowledgeable.
NOTE: Understand that dinner without a reservation will be difficult and you may not be able to wait at the bar due to it being entry at security’s discretion. I think he starts around 8pm.

I tried the meatball: nice surprise. Wine was good too.
For a French: very expensive but then again, Stockholm prices can be shocking for a foreigner. Mostly the wine ;)

Not impressed. Was said to be a go to place, however the first impression in form of two cocktails ended our stay: one was more like shot sized, the other a bit on the watery side and both missed any deco or a bit of effort. With that entrée we decided to not proceed to dinner and had a lovely evening at the prinsen a few meters away.

Riche was a great experience! We went here for lunch last minute so didn’t have reservations but that was not a problem! They were able to sit us down in the bar area which was nice. I noticed a lot of the locals go here so I was anticipating a great time. I had the Sole fish, definitely a must! My girlfriend had the more traditional Swedish meatballs and mash potatoes. To my surprise, I really loved it. The meatballs were light as well as the potato purée. If you’re in the area I will definitely recommend you come

The food is pretty average unlike the prices! The menu is unexciting & the bar is overcrowded but apparently is a hook up spot & many people go to the bar there to scan the place at all times! Basically it’s what we call meat market, but I’m not sure why others go there to have dinner with their friends & families because it’s too loud & stressful to sit in the middle of that crowd & eat in my opinion.

We were in the area and came here for lunch. One needs reservations apparently so we sat at the bar. Had the meatballs and mashed potatoes with lingonberries and cucumbers. One of the best such dishes we have had in Stockholm.

Exceeding my expectations — an elegant, modern bistro serving classic dishes! For appetizer, the red prawns from Patagonia: beautifully cooked in garlic & herbs! Next, Swedish meatballs: buttery rich, nicely paired with the creamy smooth pureed potatoes; delightfully accompanied with lingonberries & pickled cucumbers! Last but not least: Gino dessert: light & airy warm fruits and white chocolate au gratin-​oh so delicious! On top of the food, the service was impeccable! Skal!

Tasty meatballs, köttbullar if you’re Swedish, in an upscale setting with a side of scene (Real Housewives of Stockholm, anyone?). Riche is located in posh Östermalm and has many faces, depending on what you come here for. Personally, I’m all about the meatballs at lunch but their bar is clearly a winner at night.
A reservation is a good idea if you’re planning on dining at Riche. And though the prices may be high, take heart if you’re an American visitor as the US Dollar hasn’t been this strong against the Swedish Krona in a long time!

Old fashioned, a little bit stuffy, but a fairly cozy atmosphere. Food, well, fairly traditional Swedish food, nothing especially exciting. Service can be a little bit snobby. Lots of so called trendy people, so you really need a reservation to get a table! Prefer it for lunch!

GREAT restaurant! DO NOT FORGET to order the gino!!! Best dessert in the world and here it’s priceless.
They keep the menue rolling so it’s always fun to go there and se if there’s something new. I do not think the price is too much — you get real and good food on your plate so what else can you ask for :)
You should book a table well in advance, it’s a very popular restaurant!

I loved this place! Chandeliers ablaze above the busy bar, beautiful people chatting, laughing and canoodling. A lively atmosphere which spills out onto the sidewalk with its bistro tables. I ordered an entrée which was a cold salad of cubed beets, red onions, and lox. garnished with golden cavier. It came with a side of hot mashed potatoes. I could eat that again and again. I’m only here in Stockholm a week but I’ll definitely return and order the same dish.

One of the classic places to be in Stockholm, always good food and the atmosphere is great, perfect place to have fun with friends and mingle, and the location is perfect if you want to party on

Took my American family here and overall thought it hit the mark. Food was great although my 11 year old thought the burger was a little bready. Meatballs were awesome, steak was great and the char was excellent. We finished with a 4 star crème brûlée.
Ambience was good. Felt hip but still good for kids. Wait staff friendly and accommodating. Some debate about whether we should do 4 or 5 stars but it was good enough for 5

A classic venue in the heart of Stureplan where you can dine, wine and mingle with businessmen, celebrities and other loungers.
Popular place to have a business lunch or wrapping up the week with a dinner and drinks. Dresscode is pretty strict so you shouldnt show up in a hoodie. Crowd tend to be from the 30s and up to the most experienced one. This is not the place you go for dancing, but its a perfect place to grab a drink or two at. It can get pretty packed early on, so i would suggest making a stop here and then continue on.
Once you are here and its packed, you will have to use your very best skills to get a drink. So if you are afraid of close encounters, you will have to send a buddy to order or go elsewhere.
Whether you just wanna dine-​in or go all-​in you will have to adjust your strategy for the evening. Go here to get a classy start, and once you are bored, continue on to get more!

For the bar area in the back only:
Cool décor. Terrible manhattan, almost all sweet vermouth and no bitters!
Great for people watching: a mix of posh, trendy, old and young. Definitely a place where you’d like to look your best.
Expect to pay around 280 – 350 kr for a round of drinks.
All in all, not exactly my first choice when in Stockholm.

Fancy place with two different rooms: one is really chic, so classic with gold tables, great music and nice decoration, then there’s another one more casual with not that many tables comparing to the other, so it feels like the atmosphere goes down a bit.
But the main thing, food, was great! Casual but good and tasty food. You’ll have a mix between traditional swedish dishes which look less surprising than the traditional swedish food: Toast skagen (200 sek) with brioche bread (reminds me of the way we serve foie gras in Paris) which was really great but not out of this world, then a few cockers. why not have some seafood, I had the oysters they were amazing, go for the big ones (44 sek p. P)! That side sauce was impressive yet so simple!
Then you’ll have the brunch part with eggs benedict (150sek), burgers.
If you wanna have nice food, not spectacularly surprising but yet so delicious, in a really fancy atmosphere, choose RICHE!

I tried oysters and Gino as dessert.
The oysters were particularly great.
Gino is a good dessert too, but order ½ if you are alone.
Although at the expensive side, Riche is a good place to try. The service was good, no long waiting times, friendly staff and clean service.

AMAZING! This was the first dinner we had in Stockholm and it was the best dinner I had while there. The cocktails are stellar, the food is excellent, and the people watching is A+. Pro-​tip — have a late dinner and then head to the club /​bar inside. They were turning people away when we came for dinner at 10pm — it was reservation or guest list only.
The locals were drinking wine/​champ and ordering the burger — which looked amazing but you don’t fly to Sweden to eat burgers imo.
We ordered the Swedish meatballs — wow! As I had only ever tasted a Swedish meatball at Ikea I was blown away. Still dreaming of them. They come with the softest, butteriest potato purée, lingonberries, and pickled cucumber. Divine!
We also had the best Skagen toast. We had never had it before and we had no idea what were going to get but my god — I would want to eat that every day if I could. And I tried to while I was in Stockholm — but this was the best we had while there.
The only flaw in the night was the pacing of the meal. Our waiter took the time to ask how we wanted things coursed out but EVERYTHING came at once. It was stressful and we had no room on our little table for all the apps and mains.

Riche is very versatile. You can essentially have a nice romantic dinner, grab drinks with friends or just hang out by the bar for some quality solo time. But why would you want to? The ambiance is very fun and everyone was pretty nicely dressed. It can be somewhat of a «scene» but you are in Ostermalm.
We were seated in the restaurant area and decided to try out the herring and cheese platter as well as Swedish meatballs and another traditional Swedish dish – Toast Skagen. The meatballs were served with lingonberries and pickled gherkin as well as a mini pot of mashed potato. The meatballs’ sauce was actually a bit too salty for my liking, but delicious nonetheless.
There’s an extensive wine and drinks menu. The service was friendly overall. We had two waiters serve us. We asked the first about the reputation of some other «highly regarded» restaurants and she had never heard of them. The second, however, was very helpful and even suggested some good bakeries (konditoris) for us to check out during our stay. Overall, I would recommend Riche for a fun night out.

Schöné, gut besuchte Bar mit schönem, gut betuchtem Publikum, in der man sich schnell mal underdressed fühlen könnte, aber natürlich nicht muss. Zum Essen kann ich nichts sagen, die Gin Tonics sind gut und für Stockholmer Verhältnisse fast bezahlbar.

Nette Atmosphähre als Bar und Partyschuppen. Die Speisen lassen zu wünschen übrig und werden dem Preis nicht gerecht.

On y vient surtout pour goûter à l’ambiance décontractée-​chic, le décor extravagant de l’annexe réalisé par des artistes contemporains, et l’excellentissime playlist (toujours à l’annexe) qui mêle pop suédoise et artistes de labels rock indépendants.
Dans l’assiette, une carte brasserie classique avec des salades très chères et peu généreuses C’est bon mais l’addition reste vraiment sur l’estomac. Un peu à l’image de la plupart des restaurants de Stockholm

Die Restaurant-​Bar Riche ist Treffpunkt für Modebewusste, Kulturfreaks, Anzugträger und Lebenskünstler. Tagsüber gibt es französische Küche mit Schnecken, Trüffelrisotto und vielem mehr, abends rockt die Bar ab 23 Uhr
