I’ve been going here for 8 – 9 years, maybe 50 times and always enjoyed this place. But tonight when my wife and her friend visited Ramblas and was basically thrown out after EXACT2HOURS, this will end. They weren’t even allowed to have dessert.

We have been frequenting Ramblas for a good 3 – 4 years now. They recently closed for renovations. Today is the first time we were back since the remodel. The remodel is FAB but the food not so :(. We usually order the same thing and went to do that this evening. The menu has changed and I feel the cook has too. One of our favorites is the fajitas … GONE! We ordered the spicy shrimp, garlic shrimp and potatoes with aioli. We decided to try the chili. The shrimp dishes tasted completely different from before. Lacking in flavor and very watery? The potatoes tasted the same but were in bigger pieces than before. We ordered(and paid for extra aioli) but got less than the normal amount even though I asked upon pickup. The chili was meh … more like kallops than chili. The good, the staff. Always pleasant and very social. They know how to serve and do it with a smile. It’s a real shame that the menu has taken a drastic nosedive from previously. We are sad to say that this wil no longer be our local spot for tapas.

So i finally got here after months of gossip and eager. I went here very hungry, full of expectations, and with an unlimited budget to spend. Got seated right away and started to inspect the menu immediately. The Waitress recommended 2 – 3 dishes each, so i had 6 to leave no one behind. We were served quick, almost to quick, so we didnt had the chance to talk that much. Plates where generously sized and all what i wanted them to be. After finishing the plates, it was time for dessert, and it was«Tarta de chocolate» that reserved my last inch of space before settling. All-in-all this is a very good restaurant, and therefore a pretty hard to get a spot during peak hours. I came hungry and excited with a wealthy budget. I left stuffed, happy and eager to get back spending my remaining bucks.

Ramblas is one among all tapas restaurant around in Stockholm, serving all the traditionally dishes you expect on a tapas table. Not more, not less. The way Ramblas differ from the general tapas restaurant is definitely the amount of food on each plate ordered. I was told three dishes would be enough regardless of how starving you were, I had my three dishes and left the restaurant with a smile on my lips. Don’t be afraid of garlic when you consider Ramblas, I can still one day and night after feel the garlic taste in my mouth. That’s in a positive way though. I would prefer this place when you want to kickoff of the weekend with a couple of friends. The prices for sparkling wine was nothing to complain about, probably in the best price range one could find. My grade of Ramblas doesn’t take the Sangria in mind, which I’ve heard is a must try.

A restaurant that feels like it is full of locals. Very professional and friendly staff that are there to serve you and make your experience the best. Most of the dishes are awesome, but there are two that were boring, the«Pincho moruno de cordero» and«Pollo de grano». You can not miss my favorite dishes, the«Gambas al ajillo» and«Sollomillo» which are world class. A must go to restaurant for a nice relaxed dinner out on the town.

Hot as Spanish weather in summer, spicy as real Spanish tapas! In my opinion, it is the only restaurant in Stockholm which is somehow close in the right way to how the real Spanish tapas are done at their homeland. Good manner of this restaurant is that your order is delivered fast and completely, so no one from your even big company have to be bored waiting for the food while all other enjoy their meal. I was a bit disappointed by the size of the portion of the Spanish omelette. For 52 kr it was way to little piece. But oh, welcome back home, it is not Spain, it is Sweden.

Excellent tapas for a reasonable price. This place has good tapas(best in Stockholm) for decent prices(50−60kr per). I highly recommend it. The service was good, waitstaff were friendly and helpful when we asked about portion size etc. I’ll definitely be back.
