I like Pub! Or, more the the idea of what the place could be. It has a lot of history and some fun stuff inside. It’s nice to stop in and just check out the home décor and kitchen section once in a while. Also, if your new in town, it’s fun to see the department store where the silent film star Greta Garbo used to work! Still, I think there’s a few things that could make this place a little more successful. The store is huge, but It really doesn’t feel that way because it’s set up like a lot of different little different boutiques. It also has pretty short ceilings so it feels a little cramped. Despite the vast size of the building on the outside I’m always left with the feeling that there’s really not that much stuff on the inside. As many times as I’ve visited here(quite a few) I still can’t remember anything that I would go here for specifically as a destination. I’ve only been here while I was already in the area and had some time to kill. It’s like the whole place is set up to be a recreational and impulse buy kinda place. Obviously, thats a great idea for the tourists and foot traffic in the area, but as someone who lives in Stockholm I find it a bit obsolete. There is nothing you can buy here that you can’t get closer, at NK, online or at one of the bigger malls more easily. I wonder how this store stays in business. It’s at too high of a price point and sells a lot of bulky items to just be a tourist trap. The stock is always changing what type of items they carry not just the styles. So, when you go in for a specific thing that you’ve seen(like I have) you’ll be left disappointed that it’s not there. That does really make it hard for anyone in the area to be a regular shopper. I suggest in the future that they utilize the space a little better by placing tourist trap items like cosmetics, haircare and a merged salon/nails place facing the square. Also, they should really move the stuff in the basement somewhere else. It does not feel luxurious down there at all and I would never be inspired to get my hair done in a dank basement. I suggest placing all the cafes at the top floor with a nice view and really cleaning up the basement to put more specific destination items like kitchenware. They also really need to rethink the placement of women’s underwear right next to one of the entrances. No lady wants to buy her underthings in front of a high traffic area and café!!! Lastly, I highly suggest finding some regularity and a point of differentiation from the stock carried in the mass of other stores in Stockholm. If the items were a little more unique and I knew I could come back and find the same the same type of item then I could see myself coming here more regularly(and not by accident).

I guess if youre into style and fashion this is your center. Lots of clothing for the hip and new. However somewhat confusing as hell as it’s staggered in diagonal offset floors. Getting out was basically trying to backtrack where i came even though in was sure there there were other exists. A few food vendors is more my thing but definitely a place to blow some cash
