Can only say wow! The environment, food and service … can not get much better! I tested a sample menu on the theme of truffles, you cant miss this well composed menu. Pontus thanks for a wonderful experience

Came here for a prepaid dinner. The atmosphere was really nice(the white linen, fancy glassware, etc) — 1st course: French onion soup — really good but I don’t really like onions; pretty big portion — 2nd course: steak with fries — amazing! Steak was done medium rare :) — good portion sized — 3rd course: tiramisu — really good and filling

Very enjoyable lunch downstairs in the restaurant side of Pontus. went straight into the main lunch of pressed Ox cheek wih a butternut Squash purée and some chard, very tasty, good preparation. My lunch host had the burger which looked very tasty, and nice and pink in the centre. We both had a very good apple cake desert, and good strong espresso, all very tasty. I am told thet the other lunch option offers remarkable value, and can feed you in thirty minutes if necessary. I will return

Lunch was decent. Good fish but my green beans were cold. Teas, coffee and cookies were nice for after lunch. Atmosphere and décor are fun. I’ll check out dinner downstairs another time and maybe happy hour.

The lunch buffet is delicious — and more importantly it’s not the same«lunch food» you find at every other restaurant in this town! The even better news: If you go for a late lunch around 13:00, it’s only 85 kr !!! (Regular price is 100 – 120 kr)

The steak tartare was fresh and smelled like it should — a hint of chives. They added deep-fried beetroot as a side, which was a nice twist. I went during happy hour, they offered half-price for dinner before 19:00. Very good value

Pontus! attempts to be a luxury restaurant and fails miserably. The food is just not good enough, the service is acceptable but not good enough either. Starting with the food it is not bad and in many restaurants I would be content with the food but if a restaurant aims to be a luxury option or at least an upscale restaurant it has to perform better. The burger lacks flavor and the homemade ketchup that comes with it was awful(it made me long for some regular Heinz or something like that and I do not even like that either). The Korean ribs offers plenty of food but the quality is nothing to write home about. The best bets on the menu are the Truffled Poussin and the meatballs but of these dishes are good. These are always on the menu and from the seasonal menu I also think the Wood pigeon is pretty good. The price level is however fairly high but there is a real bargain to be had for people who eat early(have to leave the table at 7.15 at the latest) or, the one I would prefer, late(after 10). For the early and late eaters it is 50% of all food and then it is all of a sudden a great deal. For that price I would almost give it a five rating but with the standard price it is more of two in rating so the overall rating will be a three.
