After walking by a few times and seeing the constant crowd, we decided to give this a try. It was a definitely standout for a city with plenty of good Italian food. They have a more casual area where you can order pizzas, etc, but we opted to dine inside on the formal menu. Probably the best wine list we saw on our trip and some of the best food. Honestly the meal was pretty much perfect. Service was excellent and efficient, and the manager came over to greet us and share his appreciation of the wine we selected :-). We both had pasta dishes, but everything looked excellent. The pizzas seem very popular so we will try those on our next trip. This is a beautiful space with delicious food and wonderful, war service. Highly, highly recommend.

Pane Vino is probably the fanciest restaurant I’ve ever accidentally stumbled into! My guy and I decided to walk into the first restaurant we saw, and this happened to be it. I guess the downstairs area is quite casual and that’s where you order pizza, but when we walked in they said they only had room in the a la carte section upstairs. So why not, we figured? The waitress led us upstairs and I felt like I had walked onto an evening dinner on a cruise ship in a movie or something! The tables were fancy, the lighting was fancy, the staff were all wearing these fancy outfits reminiscent of the navy or something — the atmosphere was fancy! It’s not as fancy as one might first think though — you hang up your own coat in a tiny little hidden alcove in the corner where you can’t see anything — but that’s fine. We got a table for two by the window and marveled over the massive wine glasses. My French friend was disappointed to discover the wine list consisted entirely of Italian wines — but hey, it’s an Italian restaurant! Fine by me. He ordered truffle raviolil and I opted for veal linguini. He had red wine and I had white. When the food arrived it looked quite normal — not like the gorgeously set up salads we saw some other people getting. But it was absolutely delicious! Simplicity is not a bad thing when the quality is that high! The wine was also top-notch. The staffing situation was a little confusing — we were seated by one waiter, greeted and nagged by another about whether or not we had decided, and then finally served and taken care of by a third. The second waiter was definitely our least favorite — he seemed to mock us and speak in very gruff tones. The third was great in my opinion though. He laughed, joked, started chatting up my friend about France and football, and kept coming back to make sure everything was good. He was kind of touchy-feely — he punched my friend in the arm twice in a friendly buddy-buddy manner! My friend found it odd, but I thought it was cute and charming — since it wasn’t me, haha. All in all it’s a gorgeous restaurant — the a la carte section makes you feel super fancy just by sitting there. The food and wine were absolutely fantastic, I don’t have any complaints. And although it was pretty expensive, it wasn’t outrageous given the quality. So I’m a fan!

PANEVINO After five weeks in Europe, this was the most disappointing meal we have experienced. We showed up a few minutes early for dinner reservations and were forced to wait a half hour. I was seated on a bench with my head in a shrub. When I asked the maitre’d to move it he said he couldn’t but later it was moved by a server. The wine list was full of overpriced wines and the one we ordered was«lost» on the way to our table. The bread and pasta were delicious but the salads we ordered never appeared. The food and server almost made up for a very poor experience.

Been here two times — both visits over my expectation! The ambiance in this restaurant is soo cozy, you can either sit outside in a green house or inside. The service is amazing, especially this one young guy who always checked on us and actually payed attention to what we said. So nice!!! You feel so welcome. I’ve tried one pizza and the mushroom risotto, and OMG the risotto!!! Best one I’ve ever tasted and I’m NOTLYING!!! :) you should definetly try it.

The food here is good and the service is good except for one thing, we waited about an hour and a half for our food. Now I know the whole American fast food thing and how we should be patient and enjoy the meal. This is hard though when you are waiting an hour and a half for a pizza. All in all, this place has solid food, ok service but they take forever to make pizza and even longer to make pasta.

Good pizzas and cosy atmosphere inside as well as outside. The long tables inside accommodates 10 people or so, which makes them perfect for a group of friends and a couple of the house specialty ‘one meter’ pizzas to share :) All in all, expect crispy and delicious pizza in nice surroundings. No more than three stars because of the sloopy and unfocused service though!

The Italian guy that makes the pizza here is really good. If you like the little thicker gourmet pizzas. It’s a great place to sit and have a glass of wine or beer. There are some really long tables where you sit 5 – 6 ppl on each side. The desserts are fantastic you don’t want to miss these. The bad things: they can’t make a good cop of coffee, tried it twice. The waitress is really bad. We waited 20 min with empty water glasses. Also when I asked for something spicey like tabasco she suggested the oil on the table. Lmao. The prices are ok If you only go here for a great pizza this is the place. If you expect service, hold your thumbs and wish for a falling star.
