Ooooh, this place is fantastic! I’ve lived nearby for nearly two years and to be honest I only made my first venture inside recently — because, well, it looks expensive. And yeah, a lot of it is expensive — naturally; it’s an Italian delicacy store. But it’s so splendid! Although it’s a tiny shop, it’s remarkable how much they have packed into it. Bottles and bottles and bottles of deluxe olive oil, balsamic vinegar, tapenade, artichoke paste, pasta, biscuits, and so much more. They also have some fresh vegetables and even skin products like body butter. But the focus is definitely on food, as it should be. If I wanted to make a delicious Italian homemade meal(and who doesn’t?) this is definitely where I stop. You can sample everything as well — when I went there were several bowls and bits of bread already out available for dipping in oils and vinegars, and the woman there said just to ask if we wanted to try anything else. She’s very friendly, helpful, and talkative, and has some of the best customer service and most upbeat, cheerful attitude I’ve met in Swedish employees. It seems to be a family-run business, and they travel to Italy themselves to handpick the items — you can tell there’s a lot of passion and knowledge that goes into running the store. Simply splendid! As I mentioned, it can be quite pricey, but they have such a variety that the prices of course vary as well — you can definitely find something that suits your taste and budget. Plus they have rainbow-striped pasta — my personal favourite just for fun!
