Such a fantastic selection of beer and a very friendly staff. I was shocked by how many Colorado and California beers they’re able to import, though I tried a variety of European beers that were very good. If you have the fortune of going when Andrés is working, I recommend you sit at the bar. The man knows his beer and makes for some good conversation. Definitely check out Oliver Twist if you’re in the area!

Beer Stop 134 —- This is the second best beer bar in Stockholm. However, heres the advantage of Oliver Twist — the food is just a smidge better then Akkurat. If you are out with non beer lovers, this is a much better bet then Akkurat. Lets get down to the beer — the tap list is small, only about 14 beers or so. The tap list is so so — there are quite a few English ales, quite a few US beers, but only small number(about 2) local beers. The bottle list is where you want to focus, they have everything you could ask for there. In fact, they had quite a few American IPA’s, which I was quite surprised about. that being said, there may only be a few beers you havent tried if coming from the states. Service is friendly and the crowd is local. I don’t think we heard a word of English the few times we had lunch here. PS — Oliver Twist is the only beer spot open for lunch.

Amazing beer selection. Good whiskey selection. Bar food to the max and high quality variety of whiskeys. Bar tenders are super knowledgable and friendly. Great place. Good ambiance. Cool people. Locals mostly and some tv’s for a local football game Amazing oxcheeek with potato purée and local greens. What a beautiful smell and fennel.

A bar/restaurant with one of the widest selections of beer in Stockholm. The bar and restaurant is very small and very popular though which can make for a tight squeeze in Fridays and weekends. They mainly serve bar-food cooked real well and a good portion of the dishes are possibly to have GF adjusted. If you’re looking for a bar and restaurant that serves good food and that has a lively and warm atmosphere this a place you should not miss!

Kind of wish they still had the meatballs on the menu. I must start off with saying that the beer selection here is INSANE in a great way, the wait staff was very helpful with recommendations and were very friendly. However the fish and chips i ordered was missing a little something, It could have been just a touch crispier and a little lighter. Other than that it was a good experience.

Vale a visita!

I can’t really believe it has taken me so long to get around to reviewing Oliver Twist. It has been here for along time and while I would not consider myself a regular I do stop by a few times a year. From the outside it looks like a crappy British pub and when entering there is not much in the design of the place that gives a different impression. This is however not a place I mainly go for the nice vibe but rather for the great beer. The beer selection is great, both on tap and by the bottle. I also think the staff here are good at explaining what is on offer and describing the character of the beer. It is always possible to have a small taster before ordering a full glass. The price level is fairly ok compared to other craft beer places but by no means cheap. They also serve pretty decent pub food, a bit heavy perhaps but always good ingredients and well prepared so not bad at all for some food either. All dishes of course have a recommended beer to go with the food.

Pretty tasty! I did more köttbullar meatballs, husband had fish and chips — fish was bone-in BTW. Times visited: 1

Great atmosphere(one of the few places in Stockholm with enough expats among the guests in order for someone to strike up a conversation with a stranger), big selection of beer and knowlegable and friendly staff makes this one of my favourite pubs in Stockholm. Food is alright as well. This place does get busy though…

Great bar with tons of craft beer. They have a brewery that makes a special beer just for them; the Tjockhulk Tjinook. Awesome atmosphere and it’s only a block away from the Slussen station!

This place is the perfect example of how good service can make an evening out great. Appart from good food, good beer and a nice setting, the gentleman serving us was polite, funny and attentive. Thumbs up to the staff!

Oliver Twist was the location for our first beer in Stockholm and it really hit home how expensive the city is. We’d just been to Copenhagen so we knew prices in Scandinavia were high but this took it to another level. We arrived in the afternoon and it was quite quiet which is good because the number of beers available means selecting one is a bit daunting. This bar mainly specialises in US beers which I’m sure is much appreciated by the locals but we were after Swedish beers so we asked and got pointed in the direction of some. But when we asked for halves we were told one of them was only available in a pint(well 0.4l). This seems ridiculous and we heard it three more times in Stockholm while we were there and I still can’t get my head around it! As a result, this was a very pricey round and meant we only stayed for one. I think the pint worked out at about £8 but I can’t remember the cost of my half. Anyway, the beers we had were nice and we made a return visit a few evenings later to try some more. But it seemed more expensive than other places in the city and that really did put us off. We didn’t eat there but the food smelled nice and they do serve until fairly late in the evening.

Pretty fun place in Stockholm with a focus on US craft beer. Lots of US craft beer paraphernalia line the ceiling. Extensive bottle list, nice tap selection, proper glassware. Found a few random Swedish beers on tap and in bottles including Narke cAmarillo on tap. Food was very nice– a little fancier than typical bar food but nothing unbelievable. Very nice management and patient staff that provided some good recommendations re beer and food. Nice place.

They have plenty of numbers of draught beer. If it wouldn’t for these, I don’t think I would return. It is not particularly cozy. Funny layout of venue. Haven’t tried the food though. They do not accept AMEX.

I’ve eaten here a handful of times because I was in Stockholm from July to October… and they were closed in July and August. Sometime around mid-September they re-opened. They have great pub fare food — burgers, etc. They do have some stand out things that I loved like their fish and chips. Good lord, I’ve never seen a piece of fish SOHUGE in all my life. Well, ok, maybe at family gatherings. :D My husband loved their huge 1+ pounds of steamed mussels in some crazy jalapeño sauce. Oh my that was lovely, too. However, while we do eat food there, we used to go there for their drinks. If you’re ever in Stockholm and you’re from San Francisco and you’re missing some beer… they have 21st Amendment on hand. They also have tons of other beers as well from around the world. While you go there, bear in mind that you can’t drink a lot… because you’ll find roughly about $ 100USD gone if you have 2 beers and 2 entrees. You have been warned!

Nice interior and pleasant atmosphere, unfortunately the waitress did not pay us much attention and the burger I had was not that good
