Good food and good service.
Even though they were short staffed the night we ate there we could not complain about a single thing. Friendly service, good tasting food, good portions. What more do you want?

Very crowded spot. We were waiting for a table to be cleared off and the staff allowed another (very rude) couple to slide in ahead of us. We were largely ignored from there on. My husband was brought the wrong dish and the waiter actually argued with him about what he ordered (sorry, but not sure how lasagna al forno sounds anything like spaghetti carbonara). The food itself was good, though not nearly as good as our favorite place at home, but I wouldn’t say that I have any desire to come back here.

After being in Sweden for a couple of weeks to the south I have been craving a good Italian restaurant. This one fit the bill and also a great location in Old Town near the Palace.
As the name states, the place is like stepping into an art gallery to see his works.
The food and selections are very good and service was excellent, which is hard to find around here. When in the area I will repeat.
Back for second visit to Stockholm and this is still my favorite Italian place. Food always great.

Nice place in old town. It was packed so I figured the food would be worth it. Had the calzone and it was very good. Seated quickly and staff was friendly and fast. Free wifi as well!

Stopped in for lunch while out sightseeing. Very busy place and service suffered, food was good but lacked complexity. Even with in attentive servers we were in and out quickly.
Overall, it’s not bad and if fast fuel is what you are looking for this place is fine but there is better food very close by.

My wife and I ate here twice while we were in Stockholm. I did not encounter rude staff or anything of that nature. In fact the waiters were quite pleasant even joking and talking with us and customers. I highly recommend this spot if you want a decent meal when in Gamla Stan.

WARNING! Worst restaurang in Gamla Stan. Looks nice from the outside, but is a real tourist trap with food that’s worse than what you get from a microwave oven. Also very rude staff. I’d strongly suggest you move on to the restaurants down the streets instead.

Hier bekommt man sehr gute Pizza zu den üblichen (gehobenen) Stockholmer Preisen. Der Service ist lieblos-​desinteressiert bis pampig, aber das Essen war tadellos. Die erzwungene Jackenabgabe ist einfach Abzocke… Alkohol ist natürlich wie überall in Schweden super teuer.
Achja: für uns gab’s noch nicht mal angebissenes Brot…;-)

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Etwas teurer, dafür aber wirklich frisch und lecker.
Was ich etwas seltsam fand: Wir bekamen ein Brotkörbchen, dass vorher auf unserm Nachbartisch stand… mit einer angebissenen Brotscheibe. nachdem wir ein paar Scheibchen gegessen hatten, wurde das brot an den nächsten Tisch weitergereicht.
Fand ich nicht wirklich schlimm, aber etwas gewundert habe ich mich schon.
Die Toiletten sind eine Erwähnung wert: An den Wänden der Toiletten ist pornographische Kunst. Hab ich auch noch nie in einem Restaurant gesehen.

Dietzenbach, Hessen
Mitten in Gamla Stan (Altstadt) von Stockholm befindet sich das sehr schön eingerichtete und beliebte italienische Restaurant Michelangelo.
Generell sollte man einen Tisch vorher reservieren, wenn man sicher gehen will, dass man einen Platz bekommt ohne länger darauf zu warten.
Etwas ungewöhnlich finde ich, dass man am Eingang gegen ein geringes Entgelt seine Jacke und evtl. vorhandene Einkaufstüten abgeben muss.
Die Preise sind etwas teurer, aber dafür bekommt man Essen mit einer sehr gute Qualität und guten Service geboten. Eine Pizza kostet im Durchschnitt ca. 14 Euro. Von leckeren Vorspeisen, Pizzen, Pasta, Fisch, Meeresfrüchte und Fleischgerichten bis zum leckeren Tiramisu bekommt man alles geboten. Auch die Pilze sind hier auf der Pizza frisch und kommen nicht aus der Dose.
