Great steak tartar, great meatballs. All home made and delicious. Not-​so-​good fries though, obviously from the freezer. Very professional service. A charming black terrier, which the restaurant is named for, occupied the table next to ours. I will be back!

This place is unassuming but great. I loved the neighborhood feel of the place– almost everyone seemed like a regular. The food was tasty and I got the chance to have Swedish meatballs w/​lingonberry jam. I enjoyed the reindeer toast as well. When in Stockholm, right? This place is popular with dog owners so that was fun to watch as well. The atmosphere is very cozy and you’ll want to stay awhile. I recommend making a reservation as it fills up quickly every night! I’d definitely come back next time I’m in Sweden.
