Totally cosy and friendly place. One of the few cafes I’ve been to in Sthlm where customers and staff chat openly and familiarly with one another. I love the old threadbare chairs and during most of the day you can grab a table outside in the sun! Great carrot cake.

Nice café in Soder. We went for breakfast and had delicious Swedish pastries. They also offer a breakfast special that includes an egg, yogurt, pastry, juice and coffee. It’s a cozy spot and you can sit inside or out. Staff is friendly.

This café was close to my hostel and when I searched it up, there were good reviews so I gave it a shot. I came for breakfast and they had a breakfast special for 100sek, not expensive at all considering that it’s Stockholm. The meal came with a choice of sandwich, coffee/tea, fresh squeezed juice, hard boiled egg and yogurt with cereal. That’s a lot of food for breakfast, usually I have one of the portions provided. I loved the juice, but my friend said it was too sour. Everything else was ordinary, nothing over the top. This café is really cozy and the staff was really nice! Perfect start to my day.

This is absolutely my favorite café in Stockholm. First of all, the owners and barista’s are just so nice! There are a lot of regulars at this café so the ambiance is very cozy! Big plus! Also, it is one of the cheapest cafés in Stockholm I know(Stockholm cafés is kind of expensive). Further, it is great for both talking to a friend and having a fika, great for lunch, and great for sitting for hours studying/reading a book. The cinnamon rolls are yummy, coffee is good, and the salads splendid. Go here! Big plus also for the interior design and music — love it!

The best things come along when you don’t expect them and so it was with the Lilla Caféet på Söder. I was walking around in Stockholm, out to collect some new impressions, watching the hustle and the people in the streets. Despite the cold and grey autumn day I was walking for a long time and felt almost frozen. Then I raised my head and saw it. I was standing directly in front ot it. The Lilla Caféet på Söder. Because the were many people in the café I took the winding staircase to the upper floor to find a nice place. It was quite warm up there and in combination with a hot tea and a piece of the home made cake I recovered after a short time. \\ End of story. I like the café because of it’s style. The furniture is second hand and mixed together. But especially this gives a unique touch to the café. And also the staff is very nice and friendly. Therefore I go there at least once a week. As I drink no coffe I can’t tell about the quality/taste. I also never tried some of the food they offer. The hot chocolate didn’t convince me totally although I was asked to try if the amount of cocoa is fine for me. A really nice and cozy place to have a fika!

Love it. I’m no expert on coffee(in fact I got a chai-tea) but the ambiance is perfect for a café. Three different rooms with different feels and cozy seating(the upstairs rooms were newer as of this writing and were still in artistic development I think). This is the winter coffee spot in Stockholm to get in out of the cold and have a chat or read a book or close your eyes and eavesdrop. I didn’t get the food but my friend liked the soup of the day and the chokladboll was good(my basic rating criteria for usual fika food like this is: did they not screw it up?). The chai tea cup I got was very small but I got to pick my own tea leaves and they gave me a free refill of hot water so they’re not stingy. I have to question whether it’s wise to give a place 5 stars based almost entirely on the atmosphere — but no, the staff was friendly and the food was good. This is the perfect place to have a coffee chat(unless you don’t like being overheard, because all the rooms are very small and intimate). I would like to come back here, and I recommend you check it out and sit with a friend. Charming.

Cozy little coffee and breakfast spot. Hip without the hipsters. Sadly the coffee is no match for Drop Coffee.
