Levinsky’s Café

Great and afforable burgers, nice and crispy fries!
A good place to eat but it wouldn’t hurt to get a smile from the staff!

I can’t say I liked this place at all. I was attracted by the lighting and the name (my friends own a Levinsky’s Outdoor Store in Maine) but that was about the end of it. I didn’t like the latte much — they serve it in a tall, slim glass and it just has the wrong feel when you drink it. It reminded me of a milk shake. The baked goods were a bit dry and nothing exceptional. The barrista spilled some ice on the ground when filling a bucket and then put it back in the bucket! The bathrooms are a bit messed up. There’s nothing special about this place except their strange coat hangers and the automatic sliding door. The staff didn’t seem very friendly to me.
I would not return here nor recommend anyone go here.

Levinsky’s is located on a very popular street (Rörstrandsgatan) with many restaurants and cafes. It has a nice outdoor area where one can sit and enjoy some coffee, tea, light dishes as well as beer and wine.
They appear to do fine by virtue of the location. They do not know how to make coffee so do avoid that. The food is not really something they make it more appears to be heated in the microwave oven so not exciting at all. Service is minimal and not very helpful (not to say that it is not friendly). One example is that when ordering food one needs to pick-​up cutlery indoors as they will not bring any with the food — it would be easy for them to just tell you to bring it (or perhaps bring it with the food) but never happens.
There is nothing really good about Levinsky’s and while it is not awful either there are other places to go but if you want to have a beer or a glass of wine outside this may still be an option.
