Hattori Sushi Devil

We came for dinner and got seats next to the door. They were not very good since people were running in and out in the cold. Their manager, not a very nice person. Our waiter, the nicest person in the world! :) Their sushi-​chef is one of Stockholm’s best, he has a passion for sushi and treats every piece like art.
Again, among the nicer culinary experiences of Stockholm sushi-​wise. Great chef, great waiter, somewhat uneasy atmosphere, and not the most professional manager.
Big shout out to their lady waiter — she is a natural pro!

I went to devil sushi on a Thursday for dinner. Inside the atmosphere is intimate and cosy.
I ordered the 10pieces of sashimi and had to choose between «standard» or «lyxig». I was told the different has to do with the quality of the fish and I obviously then chose the lyxigt version, which was around 50kr more.
My friend ordered the 14 piece of sushi with 10 nigiri and 4 maki.
We waited around 45 minutes for the food with a half full restaurant. When I asked about the food I was told that the sushi and sashimi takes time to cut properly, and the waiter did not look minimally worried or apologetic.
The quality of the fish was good although I wonder if the standards would be the same if I had ordered the standard and cheaper sashimi plate. Moreover, the food took way too long to come and overall I wasn’t all that impressed.

Just unlucky or disaster? We were in a big group of 20 people and had to wait forever, once everyones food came mine wasn’t there and I had to wait even longer. Eventually it came BUT I had ordered sushi with edame paste which I realized after putting into my mouth had been exchanged to a massive amount of WASABI — as it turned out the edame paste was finished and the cook mistakenly (!!!) took wasabi. To make it up they served new sushi to me — however now the exchanged the edame paste to HORSERADISH… Anyway, it’s unfortunate as everyone else in our party had great sushi and it seems I was very unlucky, or?

Sushi in Stockholm doesn’t get better than here. Very fresh, generous portions of sushi. Service was excellent (we went for dinner). We ordered the party tray of nigiri and maki sushi and two other rolls. All were Delicious!
I highly recommend this place.

First time there, lunch experience. Good sushi. fresh, beautifully presented. However, VERY BAD SERVICE: upon ordering, no information given on where to get cutlery, chop sticks, water glasses etc (because it turns out you are supposed to get them yourself, the waiters will only bring you your dishes). If you are sitting close to the entrance, you won’t know there is a back section of this place where all these stuffs were placed. The head waiter, who also collected orders and payment, was arrogant, and had a bad attitude. Won’t go back again, even though the sushi was fine.

Was here during lunchtime for some Sushi take away. Nice spot and seemed like a cozy restaurant, but kinda bad service, while waiting for our food which took a while, I heard one who wanted to order coffee after their lunch, but had to stand last in line again.
The Sushi was OK, have had better.

I’ve been here once and they served some really awesome sushi. The staff was great. Looking forward to eat here again!
