I like this place! It does breakfast like they do in England and Australia. Eggs how you want on toast with your choice of sides, plus a bunch of more creative breakfast options! I like the coffee too and if you ask they will add chocolate powder to the top of cappuccino like do in Australia! Yum! It’s popular on the weekends so if you want a spot get there when it opens! Weekdays of course are much calmer and they have some brekkie specials too!

This place is crazy during the weekends; you go there and book a table and come back in one hour! But the food is really nice, prices are a bit high, but it’s worth it! If you order the English Breakfast you won’t leave hungry that’s for sure! Even the vegetarian English Breakfast is lovely!

LOVELOVELOVETHISPLACE!!! Best fresh Orange juice I’ve ever had! My meal was MASSIVE, vegetarian and delicious!!! The music was awesome, beastie boys and other old school stuff! The wallpaper was super rad. GANGSTAREALLY! Only way this place could get better would be if it was in my town! I truly suggest giving them a visit and following them on Instagram so you can see all the deliciousness!

Good variety menu for the brunch & pretty nice food. The only problem is extremely long waiting(for us about 1:30 hr) so you need to be patient !

I’ve been here a couple of times and the food has gone slightly downhill. The first time I went I ordered a English breakfast and definitely wasn’t disappointed. Proper backed bacon and good beans. However subsequent visits and the bacon has turned into the paper thin streaky stuff that most places serve and the beans have become hard and watery. The staff here are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. The wallpaper depicts scenes in London but in an old fashioned way. The place has a juke box where you can choose music for free. Other food which I see coming out looks amazing! Overall I would say good but could do better.

The best breakfast in Stockholm. Staff is super friendly and the food is delicious. I had the bacon scotch pancakes, and they were outstanding. I highly recommend this place.

Their name is deceiving. This is no greasy spoon. At least not as Americans would think. One thing Americans do understand from diner culture is the bottomless cup of coffee which is served here. Not the best coffee but pretty good for bottomless. I had the blueberry scotch pancakes, which were really good. I bit pricey but worth it. Staff is attentive and super friendly.

Best pancakes in town! Love this place, great food and amazingly friendly service. It’s popular, so to avoid the crowd make sure to get there early. But in any case, it’s definitely worth the wait!

I’ll talk about the positive things first. The toilet was cosy; there was a cute little candle lit so even if you turn the light off it’s still cosy! Don’t judge me I just really like beautiful and fresh comfort rooms. Haha. The personnel was nice! They all seemed happy; isn’t this a good thing? Not all can afford to be happy. A bitter personnel is one of the worst things I know, seriously. There are tables outside too and it’s pretty cosy to sit there and eat as you watch people pass by(and people passing by, watching you eat; they can’t help but check out your food). The cooking was pretty good although I was a bit disappointed by the orange juice. On the menu it says it is fresh and I was expecting something better than the one I got. It felt a bit powderish(I believe it was powdered orange juice?). The price was 39−40kr so I was really expecting a good orange juice. :(I feel the price wasn’t worth it. Anyway I can still recommend Greasy Spoon to anyone who’d like to have a good breakfast/brunch! :-)

Best banana I have ever eaten in my life. It was perfectly ripened and peeled like a delicate flower. Also, the all veggie breakfast was super dank. Highly recommend this place!

Nice interior, music not to loud, good prices. Only downside is that it took a while to get my lunch and the staff was a bit chill and didn’t seem to keen on providing good service. All in all — okay.

Sit down table service and everyone seem to be talking the Queens English… Customers and servers… Food was super yummy, I had Rösti with additional bacon, and it was everything I vod dream of. Maybe there could have been more Rösti — Im obsessed with potatoes, so there is that. My friend had the full Veggie, and there was a lot of food, and that’s NOT a bad thing. The atmosphere was nice and semi quiet, lots of parents with their babies… Oh, and my flat white was EXCELLENT, and we all know the importance of good Coffee!

Had a full English breakfast here on the weekend and enjoyed it. The sausage was the real deal and the eggs were great. Great to see a brunch menu that doesn’t fall into the typical buffet mold. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The location is good and the place isn’t cramped. We were there early and beat the crowd.

Amazingly nice staff! They even let us use their personal cell phone to fetch a cab… such a warm environment and the eggs benedict was perfect. We would love to come back here someday.

If u want a truly English breakfast this is the place to go to. It’s crowded so you need to wait for a while before you will catch a table. The food is good and the waitresses only speaks English which gives you the truly English feeling.

Good breakfast and brunch menu with a lot of British food, which is not often to be found in Stockholm(oh, those wonderful home-backed scones). Waitresses with British accent(I die inside!). Cute interior. Descent portions and cute tea porslin. I like how it all together appeared in this town. Greasy Spoon got the honour to be the first place ever where I got a courage to try eggs Benedict(always dreamt to do that since saw the movie Runaway bride, where main character could not decide her favourite type of cooked eggs) — classy. What I did not like: a lot of chili powder in every dish(I literally coughed for 15 minutes after I took a small bite of my English muffin with spinach and eggs Benedict). It definitely adding a twist to all the food, but better ask people if they really want it there. Noise level — awful. You can’t hear a person sitting next to you at the same table. As this place is very trendy now, it is always crowded. Everyone is talking and no one hear no one. It is very disappointing as brunch/breakfast is usually a social event. Only one tea sort on the menu. Disappointing. Prices. Yes, I know I am in Stockholm. But in the end all together came to be expensive as for a breakfast. Good thing — they have way more friendly prices for weekdays. Probably drop in that time then.

The mister and I stumbled across Greasy Spoon while walking to Fotografiska. We were drawn to the large crowd and then completely sucked in when we saw the neon fried egg sign. We didn’t even know the name of the place so we couldn’t do our normal Internet inspection before deciding to eat there, but the excitement of the diners and look of the food was good enough to convince us! It seems that shared tables are the norm here. And we sat at a table shared with one of the owner’s friends and his two kids. The owners are former school teachers and have been having a blast feeding people since June of this year. Now to the food: Avocado toast: a huge portion of avocados with a bit of citrus and a sprinkle of chili peppers. This was amazing! I make avo toast at home, but this was nothing like what I usually do and it makes me want to up my toast game. Eggs Benedict: Several people in the restaurant told us this was their favorite dish. I don’t typically like eggs Benedict because hollandaise is too rich for me, so I’m a poor judge. This one was no exception and I didn’t eat much of it. Although, I could tell the ingredients were excellent and lovingly prepared. But I’m sure if you like hollandaise this dish will suit you well. Pancakes: So delicious! The interior was fluffy with a nice browned and crisp exterior. Even my very-picky-about-pancakes boyfriend who perfected his own pancakes by testing recipes for weeks liked them. The staff was really friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the restaurant. Overall, I’d definitely recommend Greasy Spoon for a great meal and happy atmosphere.
