The woman who manages the restaurant is so sweet! Very polite and kind. The okdol(stone pot) beef bibimbap was delicious, although I have to agree with previous reviews that say that the rice is softer than traditional bibimbap. The portions are pretty good, although the amount of veggies was a little less than I’m used to. If you’re used to traditional korean restaurants, don’t expect any ban-chan(side dishes)! There is free miso soup with any order though. Overall a very good spot if you’re craving some bibimbap in Stockholm.

Go Choo makes literally the best bibimbap that I’ve ever had. It’s a cute place, the owners are very friendly, and it’s super affordable. I’ve often ordered bibimbap at other restaurants, but it always pales in comparison to Go Choo. Definitely a place worth returning to every time I’m in Stockholm.

Cook and workers are Korean. Friendly service, good authentic Korean food and the price is absolutely affordable. Take note that they do close shop at 2.30 after lunch then reopen for dinner later.

I saw the reviews were good so I wanted give it a try, and I was not disappointed! At first I was overwhelmed at the menu, because I never had seen the items other than sushi and a bento box. I decided to go with the bibimbab, since it seemed like the most popular choice. I got the steak version and it was absolutely amazing. I thought the portion was perfect, but my wife wanted more. She gave me her egg and didn’t eat the soup though. The sauce it came with was also amazing! If you want to try a first dish, I would go with this! I’ll be back for sure!

I am a huge fan of korean food and this place takes the cake. The ahjumma is from korea and cooks legit bibimbap. I must however warn that the other menu items have been tweaked to either include a japanese style or ingredient. Nonetheless, the food is of high quality and good value. Strongly recommend going there and having the beef bibimbap for lunch.

Really enjoyed the bibimbap and miso soup. The woman who worked there, I’m assuming she was the owner because she was the only one there, she was extremely nice and welcoming! Great find in Stockholm!

I had lunch with my fellow students here today. From the outside I am not sure if I would have walked in but my friend was ensuring that they have the best Korean food. So we walked inside, a very small but cozy place and ordered. I chose beef with rice and salad(no.3 on the menu board) and my friends no 4 which was some kind of soupy thing. It was a lunch meal so we paid 89SEK each. Then we dropped off our jackets and bags and got us some korean soup(very yummy) — i was first sceptical because I remembered that I had some other asian soup before and never gotten friends with, but this one was very good. Before I could finish my soup my meal came. Whhaat??? That was quick. So first of all the beef mix on my plate — wow so good! Then the salad –wow again! You know what I end up with most of the time when I go eat salad somewhere — a salad with no dressing or anything. I mean what’s wrong with chefs who use no dressing or is this just me? But this salad here had some delicious dressing I couldn’t figure out but I loved it! Anddd I saw Koreans eating here — if the«locals» eat here then it’s gotta be good! Recommend.

Never having had corean, I have nothing to compare to… Nonetheless, it was wonderful!!! Really friendly staff that helped me make my choice, good background music(commercial music, not asian), very cozy place, the food came in no time… No flaws… After reading some reviews, and after the help here, I chose the beef udon… Huge bowl of wonderful food… Really a good choice! Will return… post-edit: it also has free wifi

After living in Korea for a year I often find myself craving«the real deal» in Sthlm… and this, I promise you after trying many other places, is as good as it gets! There’s dol sot bibimbap(hot bibimbap served in a cast iron bowl) and my personal favorite: sundubu jjigae(spicy soft tofu stew). The kimchi is good too!

If you look for a Korean experience in Stockholm this is maybe the best place I’ve been to so far. Not on the fancy side, rather the everyday around the corner restaurant. Make sure you get your Bimbimbap in the traditional hot stone bowls!

Delicious and authentic homemade Korean food. You won’t find better in Stockholm. The restaurant is nestled away from the center of the city. The woman who works there is gracious and welcoming. Go to Go Choo or you are missing out!

Craving korean food for so long. Pros: — Amazing bibimbap — came in a metal bowl instead of ceramic — so the food was not as warm — Great price! Lunch special was 79swedish kroners. Main dish with unlimited miso soup, tea, or coffee — The soup, tea and coffee were located in one area and self-served; more convenient — Very cute and«hygge» atmosphere — Go choo sauce was amazing! Definitely grab some of this to try with your dishes — The owner was extremely nice and helpful! Cons: — I wish they had more options on the lunch menu — if I wasn’t craving bibimbap I would’ve ordered something not on the lunch menu

«Surprisingly good» shouldn’t have to be used because it is a local restaurant but is commonly used today when the restaurant is not famous. Go Choo is one of those restaurants that exceeds your expectations and makes you want to come back over and over again. Why? Because it has those simples factors that all restaurants should strive for: Good food, fair prices and nice customer service. The first time I walk in through the door I instantly feel as a regular and is warmly greeted by the korean woman standing behind the counter. She is smiling at me and gives my friend and I a warm welcome. The menu is simple and does not have too many dishes which feels logical to me since this is a relatively small restaurant. Something that I also appreciate with smaller menus is that the chef usually focuses on quality instead of quantity which is too common at local restaurants nowadays. Their beef bibimbap was good, but the rice was too soft for my taste. The beef udon soup(spicy) was really good as well, but sadly they have added a lot of monosodium glutamate(MSG) to enhance the flavour. Their kimchi was a bit of a disappointment because I think they should have fermented it a bit longer and also seasoned it better since the taste was uneven. Tips: They have a wonderful lunch offer which is between 11am — 3pm. For 79kr you will get a dish of your choice(there are four options), miso soup, coffee and bread.
