Espresso House

Having visited a different branch, this chain has kept my interest. I was looking forward to hitting this place as it seemed large and with loads of comfy couches.
I got a hot chocolate and a Caramel cheesecake this time. The Caramel cheesecake was absolutely fab! Highly recommend it. It alone deserves a return.
The place was pretty busy so we ended up sitting at a table in the middle of the floor, the seats were really low to the ground so the table was a quite a bit taller than us when seated so it made it quiet uncomfortable. There were a lot of empty tables along the sides of the café but the tables were too close together for someone to get through to sit down and were nailed to the floor so they couldn’t be moved. The only way of gettin in would have been to ask someone to get out of there seat so you could sit inside! This was so badly designed it really annoyed me! Loads of people came in an left because of seating even though they technically have spaces, ye just can’t sit in them!
I’ll be back for there Caramel cheesecake and to hopefully get a better seat next time but they defiantly deserve no higher than a 3 star rating because of there badly designed seating in this branch.
This isn’t a criticism of the branch more of an unfortunate consequence due to its location. while I was there, I found there were quiet a lot of group of young teenagers there just for the free wifi. The groups were quite loud and distracting for people around them. I watched a guy who had set up camp with his laptop, prob to study or work, having to leave because of this group of teens. Just something to keep in mind if your looking for somewhere quiet to work, I wouldn’t recommend it based on my first visit here.

What can I say? My second home. Here you can find me after a long day at work, to unwind and relax. With a Latte (Café or Chai) or one of the good teas.
The music is cool, so are the other customers. You easily feel at home here. Close to the Metro station, which is conveniently on my way home from work.

Yes, I am a fan of the Espresson House. The coffee is quite good but it’s the atmosphere that grabs my attention here. It’s quite large and has nice oversized furniture to match. Bring your tablet or phone and charge up without a problem. The wifi is fast and sufficient enough to do almost anything.

A better than average coffee chain. The coffee which is most important, is quite good, nice and strong. Pastries are pretty tasty, though a bit expensive. They also offer some other light food including salads and sandwiches, but I did not try those. One thing that makes this Espresso House nice is that there is a good amount of room and the furniture and décor is nice. It is perfect place to catch up with friends or to conduct a more casual business meeting. And it is a good place to rest up and have a small snack after shopping or working in the area.

Delicious coffee and baked goods! Also has a large selection of non-​coffee beverages in the refrigerator. Many different areas to sit down and study or relax, if you can get a spot! Convenient location, so it’s always busy!

I like this location as well as the one in the basement of NK. I’m obsessed with the carrot muffins and the lattes are great. The goat cheese beet sandwiches are also really tasty. This is the closest thing to Starbucks in Stockholm, in my opinion. Not as special as your local konditori, but a reliable place to grab a bite, have a drink, and bring your laptop to work or catch up with a friend.

Bestes Kaffeehaus in Schweden. Hat über 100 Shops. In Stockholm bis spät in die Nacht offen. Bietet alles was man so über den Tag benötigt.

Tons of locations all over Stockholm. Some have nice outdoor seating as well, which lends itself well to streetside people-​watching.
Pretty damn good sandwiches & salads, and the staff are more friendly than the average Swedish service employee.

I do like that there’s a lot of seating area and pretty comfortable is you could snag a couch or cushioned chairs. I wish the staff would clear off and clean the tables more often, it does look messy with stakes of cups and plates piled up.
It’s nice to sit outside or near the window to watch people pass by. Good place for people watching.

If they invested less money buying furniture, and more on training the staff this could be really good. #fail
