Cevicheria Aji y Ajo

Delicious food! I almost cried how good it was. Best ceviche of my life. My daughter had fab fried fish. Book a table, this place is a must. Plus, they have the kindest waitress in town :)

This unpretentious family run resturaurant is an outstanding value for Stockholm, it might be a four and a half star in other places, but for Sweden it is a five. They have a limited menu, but what they do make is outstanding. The good sized protions of ceviche are freshly prepared with a choice of sauces and hottness. I recommend the mixed ceviche with passion fruit. The meat entres are flamed on the grill, are well presented, and generous sized for Sweden. The deep fried cavassa comes with 3 salsas and was plenty to share for 4 people. The menu varies from day to day, but they offer at least 4 options, in addition to the ceviche.

The only draw back is that the chairs could be more comfortable, and it is a small place, so you may have to wait for a table. Sit outside if the weather permits, Hökarängen is a chariming place, as it was one of the first planned suburban areas in Stockholm, and has the feel of the 1920’s. If they are not busy, the cheif will come out and make recommendations, and you feel truely welcome.

15 minutes en métro de centre ville nous nous trouvons dans un banlieue ou le temps c’est arrête il y a 30 ans. Il a gardé tous son charme d’antan et quelques broquantes mais ce n’est pas pour ça que nous sommes la.
Ici on trouve la Boutique des aliments d’Amerique de sud qui héberge aussi un restaurant minuscule dans ses arrières. Une Céviceria ou le patron/​chef/​serveur propose une carte des Céviches de son pays, un plat du jour ou bien une salade. A la commande il demande si on veut la Ceviche fort ou moins fort et après c’est partie pour le meilleur poisson cru et leche de tigre de la ville accompagné d’une verre de Chicha (boisson à base de maïs violet).
Végétarien? Pas de problème, ils a une solution. Allergique au gluten? Idem.
Céviches au top, accueil et service aussi.
