Leckeres herzhaftes Essen und leckere süße Teilchen, mit großer Auswahl. Sehr freundlicher Service und eine tolle Atmosphäre. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Just another café. Totally overhyped especially their famous oversized cinnamon roll.
First of all, the service was great … Plus free wifi!
Second, the roll itself was too big and thus it is still super doughy and wet inside. We did not finish the roll not because of the size but rather because of the texture of the inner part. The table next to us also ate just the crispy outside and left with a huge chunk of dough on the plate.
In short, dont get this oversized cinnamon (50 sek a piece and not worth it) Other things might be delicious but I am not too sure because I didnt to try anything else. The tarts seem a bit expensive at 70 sek a piece

Reviews weren’t kidding when people said the kanelbulle (cinnamon roll) was huge. It doesn’t look huge, but when you eat it, wow! It’s really too big. Anyway, it was quite good; the outer edges were a bit crispy and the inside was chewy. There’s a lot of cinnamon inside the bun and sugar droplets on top. At 50 SEK per roll, it’s a bit pricey, but I guess it’s twice as big as usual kanelbulles!

Die Kanelbuller sind riesig und unglaublich Lecker. Es gibt zwei Sorten: die einen mit Zimt und die anderen mit Kardamom.
Auch schön ist der Mosaikboden.

This café owned by the lovely couple Christina and Christos functions more like a daytime bistro. During the weekend you find an american/​french inspired brunch on the menu. Saturnus have been famous since the start by serving huge cinnamon buns. Lunches are delicious and prices are on an evening-​a-​la-​carte level and sometimes enjoyed in the company of the members from the royal family who also visits Saturnus for lunch or coffee sometimes.

Gotta be one of my favorites. Whether it’s for a hot tea or café with the biggest cinnamon buns in town… or a great lunch with some of the best food I have had in such a quaint, informal, welcoming café scene… you will not go wrong here. It’s small to space can be a challenge a times, but just get there early or go during off hours for what will prove to be a great experience for both locals and tourists. Try the Reuben sandwich, club sandwich, breakfast burrito, and more. Your stomach will thank you.

This is a kind of place I have been looking for for years! We went here for a Saturday Fika and was very impressed. There is a great atmosphere, the staff are amazing and friendly and the interior is classic french.
This is quite a small place that is packed, and although it is quite loud with people speaking, it has a nice atmosphere to sit and just take a coffee or do some work on your laptop.
The staff were just excellent. Really friendly and funny,
If I had to be picky and find something to complain about, they did not give any napkins and did take our coffee away when my girlfriend went to the toilet. Otherwise, they set the bar for customer service.
The kanelbullar are GIANT! Great for sharing, maybe a bit much for one person. And the coffee is perfect. I am tired of the burnt, over boiled coffee from the high street chains. Café Saturnus has the perfect coffee that tastes great and is just what you need for a classic Fika (with a french twist — great interior, cosy feeling and a very Parisian vibe).
Overall, Café Saturnus is now my favourite coffee shop in Stockholm!

My favorite local place! Christos runs a GREAT restaurant & coffeehouse! Very inventive menu, & the Eggs Benedict is insanely good! Freshly baked cakes & pies ensures that everyone is happy. Go for brunch, but get there early! Its very popular.

Tucked away from the otherwised so buzzed up Östermalm in Stockholm you’ll find this french brasserie (owned by a greek family).
Our native friend brought us here on a Saturday morning after she’d spoken of their cinnamon buns.
We decided to have our breakfast here and there were enough space for us indoor to sit cause of the early hour and it was still too cold to sit outside in their cute outdoor area. The guy who helped us was very friendly and not didn’t have the, way too often, snotty Stockholmish attitude.
We ordered Croque Madame which was a slice of sourdough bread with smoked ham, a fried egg and cheese-​delicious. The accompanied salad was a little too boring and the plate could have contained just a little more regarding its price-​125 skr.
With the Croque we tried the mango and blueberry smoothies-​the mango one was definately totally awesome.
And last… the winner!!! (If it had the chance to enroll in UnilocalS cinnamon bun contest) the spoken cinnamon bun met everyones expectations. the filling with almond paste was genious and so delicious-​I do so very much recommend this bun and truly a visit at Café Saturnus! But be prepared-​3 croques-​3 smoothies and 1 bun –approx. 600 skr!

I have been to this place a few times now. Café Saturnus is known for its enormous kanelbullar (cinnamon buns), which I recommend. A year ago, their coffee menu was very limited. Now you can order most drinks you would expect at a café. The interior design is nice and if the weather permits, you can enjoy your coffee outside. The coffee is overpriced, but this is customary in Stockholm. They start their cleaning an hour and a half before closing time. This means that they may not let you sit inside, which is odd. I ordered a cappuccino which I was not happy with, and to my surprise they came to my table a bit later and gave me another one. This concern for the customer’s satisfaction is unusual in Sweden.

One of my favorite cafés. Great food, wonderful atmosphere, but the seating area is too small and ALWAYS PACKED. Service is better than average in Stockholm.

It’s quite crowded and everything is a bit too expensive. You might not get the best cinnamon buns in town but at least the biggest. But anyway, the place seems to turn into a tourist attraction.

Nettes kleines Café mit leckerem Capuccino und tollen Kuchen. Man sagt, hier gibt es die besten Kanelbullen der Stadt.

It’s just too good. Must be one of the best cafes in Sthlm and by the look of the crowds at lunch and on weekends, it is. If you’re in the market to find the biggest and best kanelbulle around, look no further.
The way to go seems to be sandwiches, omelets or salad. Had the fish soup and it was so so. But overall fantastic.

OMG THE SIZE OF THOSE CINNAMON BUNS! They are huge. Everything is homade an tasty. The baguette s are har work and have such a hard crust you will have no more skin left on the roof of your mouth. Stick with the buns, they are twice the size of a normal bun. hot drinks are served in big bowls!

Hochfrequentiertes und sehr gemütliches kleines Cafè, welches vor allem von Einheimischen besucht wird. Daher kann es auch mal vorkommen, dass man auf einen freien Tisch etwas warten muss. Es lohnt sich aber!
Hier gibt es Schwedens beste Kanelbulle (Zimtröllchen), aber auch andere leckere Süßspeisen und Sandwiches stehen im Angebot. Die Dame des Hauses kümmert sich hier auch noch persönlich um das Wohl ihrer Gäste und steht auch gerne für ein kleines Schwätzchen bereit.
Cafè Saturnus ist ein Muss für jeden Stockholmbesucher.

Right down the street from me in the Ostermalm neighborhood, this quaint, French brasserie like bistro serves up a killer brunch on weekends with freshly-​baked patisseries and desserts, homemade omelettes, and other simple brasserie-​like faire.
The atmosphere is fantastic. Totally a place to bring a book and read in the late afternoon. The service is excellent (you order at the counter, then someone comes around serving on you and getting you water and coffee and juice).
The place gets packed in the morning, but since it’s hidden it’s still less packed that Café Nero just up the street.
Also good for a hangover after a ballin’ Friday night. :)
