Absolutely my favorite restaurant to have a gluten free burger in town. Decent service. Often no need for reservation.

One star does it — small burger, raw in middle will keep me away rather than bring back. Cole slaw was more like cabbage and carrots with raw pressed garlic and vinegar — never had that one before. Hostess was nice and helpful but waitress did not have same attitude and was unimpressive… Bananna split was overripe and could not taste the ice cream thanks to flood of whip cream.

The only reason it has one star is because of the location(and, because Unilocal doesn’t allow a «no star’ rating.) =P I thought that maybe people were just being a little harsh on this place because it’s a basic tourist restaurant for basic B*****‘s! When I read the the other negative reviews, I was thinking«yeah… it’s probably just like TGIF next door and people can probably be a bit judgey». NOPE! There was no redeeming quality about this food. It was disgusting. It looked like a burger and a shake, it smelled like a burger and a shake… but was it a burger and a shake? NO! The burger tasted like sawdust it was so dry and flavorless. The chocolate peanut butter shake tasted like it was made of liquid plastic with a chemical flavoring additive. I would rate Mcdonalds four stars better than this place, MCDONALDS! I think i’m so irate because I wasted 500 kronor on two meals just to be so totally grossed out! And, they served PEPSI not coke! Ughhh. You can’t even order a coke here. Even the name«Bar Burger Café» is stupid. It’s just a description… not a name! I suggest that the«PDF Brasserie Group»(PDF? Really? I’m beginning to see a theme developing) just scrap the name, food supplier, chef… basically everything but the furniture! Well… that could use an update too. So, really, I just recommend that they totally start over on this place. A total overhaul! All I have to say for now is «Blechhhhh» =P ! I really like PDF’s Orangeriet! What the heck happened here?! This is embarrassingly bad. People, save your tastebuds and your wallet. Head over to MAX(the Swedish version of Mcdonalds) across the street and then just sit on the fountain steps to eat it.

Location is 5 stars. Burger was good, not great. Price was outrageous, $ 24US. Fries were thin, I prefer thick cut fries. But the loss of two stars is price and very poor service. Servers were nice, but very slow. Had to wait for food, check, water. They never even asked if we wanted more water.

The best thing with this place is the location — right in the bustling heart of Stockholm, in the Kungsträdgården square. If your company is boring you can always look at all the people walking by, right beside you. The burgers expensive and do not really live up to the price tag. These are nice patties and all — it’s no hot dog stand burger quality — but there are so many other places in Stockholm now that serve as good(or better) burgers that cost less. Presentation is nice. The meat is pink, as should be. The bread is… dark brown? Hey, I didn’t order whole wheat bread! Oh, it’s just overcooked, so the bread is slightly burnt and… dry? Wow, that’s so stupid I can’t even believe it! Fries are okay, dip is a nice bonus. Milkshake is like the burger — good but hardly worth what you are expected to fork out for it. You can get it laced with liquor if that’s your thing. This place is a letdown, sorry. Its greatest strength is the location.

What do you do when you have no Wi-Fi(or data), are hungry, and don’t want to travel far for food? You pick the busiest place and hope for the best. Bar Burger Café is a tourist spot. It’s location is prime, right across from TGI Friday’s(which by the way, is so strange to see in Stockholm), in the hustle and bustle of the city, on the edge of Kungsträdgården. It’s nice outdoor patio drew us in and the fact that it was practically a full house won us over. The food must be good, right? Well, the food wasn’t bad. We ordered two burgers, the Continental Club and True Burger. The True’s bbq-glazed patty was a blend of coarse ground angus beef, topped with caramelized onions, salad, and tomato, with classic burger dressing and fries. The Continental was a chicken sandwich, spread in homemade chipotle tabsco mayo and topped with tomato, salad, cheese fritata, and smoked bacon. I much preferred the True over the Continental, tasty but not the best burger I’ve ever had. So why two-stars? It’s so expensive. Two burgers and one draft beer cost $ 50USD. Fifty dollars. Wut. Each burger was 159SEK, which was roughly $ 23USD. I’ve had my fair share of gourmet burgers in the US and have NEVER paid over $ 20 for a damn burger. In comparison, my favorite gourmet burger in Los Angeles at The Black Sheep is $ 8. In-N-Out’s cheeseburger only costs $ 3. I’ve had the Sushi Burger at 26 Beach, which was $ 19, but that had angus beef AND crab in it. On top of that, there are trees everywhere, so if you sit in the patio, leaves and flowers will fall all over into your food and beverage. BBC is good for people watching, but that’s probably about it. Come here, grab a drink, and enjoy the view. The food is way overpriced.

Great place for people watching a long Kungsträdgården. For food not so great unfortunately. We had two classic burgers and they were probably a 3⁄5. But then the fries were even worse than McDonalds 1⁄5. The shakes claime to be real dark chocolate were just too sweet, not even cold and just milky with lots of cream. 1⁄5 for looks maybe. Not any kind near what you would call a milkshake(and 69kr no thanks.) The water served at our table was lukewarm and in the 25C sun it tasted stale. The waitress was a bit sloppy, almost smashed a glass at our table and served the table next to us two different glasses for the same kind of drink(Pepsi Max.) also almost dropped a tray with food on her way to the kitchen.

This place was awful. 45 minute wait for the worst Cesar salad I have ever had and very expensive.

Since the Il Tempo/Zink Grill/Prinsen-crew opened their burger place about two weeks ago I’ve been looking forward to trying it. It’s quite a cramped place with one side of the restaurant strangely having 1.5 m between the backs of the chairs and the other 10 cm(you can guess which side me and my friend got ;)). I took the True-Burger which seemed like the best choice for a neutral first sample. It came with OK thin fries and a small bowl of very nice burger dressing. My friend took the more spicy El Diablo burger. Unfortunately they don’t quite deliver on my burger. The bread was a bit thick and dry(I would have preferred it grilled) and the burger needs more meat. Plenty of melted cheddar though and some nice caramelized onions! Don’t forget to tell them how you like your burger cooked since they don’t ask. Finished with a creamy well tasting chocolate milkshake but I would have liked some crushed pieces of chocolate in there somewhere instead of chocolate sauce. Adding very polite and friendly, but seriously inattentive, service to the mix makes me want to give them two stars. But since my friend really liked the El Diablo burger(and even rated it higher than Primeburger) they get three. I’ll have to try that one some day and maybe change my mind.
