Came in one night while we were in Prague. Got a seat right away, and they were SO kind to our daughter. They gave her a giant stuffed jaguar and a basket of toys to play with at the table. Decent beer selection, and I devoured my burrito. Prices were right on target for what we were looking for. It was 2 stories and well decorated. Would return.

After a long day of sightseeing our family of 5 found ourselves nearby and decided to try over a few traditional Czech places nearby. We ordered a lot and the portions here are quite large. Highlight was a combo platter that two of us shared but didn’t even begin to dent. Great nachos also, and above all the price of everything was incredibly cheap.

We were interested in something different in Prague so decided to try this place since it was close to where we were staying. Nice funky interior with great sangria. Guac was good but could use better chips. I think all restaurants in the area use the same ones We ordered burritos which were large and filled with veggies and meat. Major drawback is we found the cheese they use to be very salty but that may just be us.

Great Mexican place near Wenzel’s Square. Beware: the portions are huge! I had a ½ quesadilla as an appetizer and it could have been a main meal. The nachos are different from what I’m used to — less nachos, more toppings. The quesadilla was definitely my favorite. The cocktails were on the weaker side but good enough. The restaurant is all non-smoking! Don’t let the ‘cabarets’(strip clubs?) on the street deter you from going there.

Absolutely LOVED this place! We went for Christmas vacation 2014 and I was dying for some Mexican food after being in London and Paris earlier this trip. The place was located down the street from our hotel and it had a downstairs seating as well. It’s choice for decoration was perfect, and they have designated seating for smokers. We ate here twice. We tend to pick a night and have a nice dinner, and we ended up going back here for that! Fajitas and beer — couldn’t have been better! Service was superb and the food was delish! I felt it was reasonably priced.

We wanted good Mexican that rivals Las Adelitas in Prague and boy did we not find that here. Service was slow but alright, and don’t expect the servers to speak anything other then czech even though this location is right off of Wenclas square(in a tourist area). The inside is actually awesome. The hats on the ceiling, design and set up of the tables so that all along the right groups have some privacy, really I loved that. Downstairs they have a open dance floor vibe going on and also interestingly decorated. For the money, this place is not good enough. If you want me to take you seriously as a mexican place you first have to know how to make nachos. A place that makes nachos in an oven is fine, but not when you put so much plain cheese on top of the nachos and cook it that I can’t find the chips. And when I do they are soft and soggy. These are not nachos. And on top of it charge 180 crowns for them. Needless to say neither of us were very impressed by the food, hence lowering its star rating. Overall, average mexican food, overpriced and blah service? Just save yourself the trouble and go to Las Adelitas for real mexican food and servers.

I come to this place especially because of their amazing lunch menus. The restaurant is located right next to the Vaclavske Namesti and except for the fact that it is located in a street that is famous for its cabarets and noisy night life, the locations is just perfect. The interior is typical Mexican and the meals are authentic. I absolutely adore their burittos. If you want to come here for lunch, I recommend to come either early or late as during the peak lunch hours it might be difficult to find a spot there. Even though I am not coming here much for dinners, I have been here a couple of times with friends and it was just perfect because the prices are very reasonable and everyone was very relaxed, knowing that prices are not an issue and the evening can be enjoyed to the fullest.

If not the location in the shady, sort of ‘cabaret’ street Ve Smeckach, this restaurant would be almost perfect. I’m kidding, the location only makes it a bit more difficult to consider going there at night, while choosing a place for a typical for south nations late dinner. Otherwise, their menu has a great selection of different Mexican dishes and combinations of dishes. The quality of food and the service are really good. Personally, I like way too many things from their menu list, and it doesn’t happen to me often here. It can have something to do with the fact that I love Mexican food in general, but El Pueblo is an amazing restaurant as well. The prices are standard and they have a 99 Kc lunch offer, so it’s completely packed at lunch time both upstairs and downstairs during the working days.
