Great sweeties!!!
Air tight jars, plastic bags, good prices, amazing selection, friendly staff, Denise is a Laugh!!!
I buy for myself, to share as i go & for sweetning people up!
And get the sour head popers for playing jokes. Haloween on its way the kids will have the trick!

This shop has a wide range of sweets old favourites to exciting new discoveries, even the local John Bull range of sweets — I couldn’t believe the variety in the shop! Even had a section of jokey trick sweets, which I’d never heard of before. The shop holds all it’s sweets in traditional airtight glass jars rather than the plain plastic ones that lose flavour to the air. You can get all your sweets in whatever weight you like, and you can choose between the ordinary paper bag, which can stick to the sweets if you leave them too long, or a plastic bag if you plan to keep them longer.
I even could order in special sweets or even flavours of sweets from around the world. Just absolutely phenomenal customer service, a real gem!

this is a super gimmicky sweet shop, mainly for the tourists in york!
it does give a slight ye olde sweetie shoppe feel, as you walk in? but thats where it ends!
saw plenty of york fudge, york toffee, boxes of sweets with pictures of various places/​landmarks of york. not my kind of sweet shop!
they did have a good range of sugar free sweets, and giant gob stoppers, the size of a tennis ball! and any parent buying that for there children, needs there heads looking at! its not a big space, inside the shop, and it has not been open long. but it will appeal to alot of people, mainly tourists!
