It’s better than it used to be. It has one gigantic main screen, and a few smaller ones. Not a big fan of the small rooms. But it’s a decent price and right outside is the bus stop. Serves beer, not sure if that’s common for cinemas? It’s an old odean building.

Reel Cinema is what used to be the ODEON in York. I was quite gutted when the ODEON went as yes it was old and dated but it had been there a long time and I always hate it when old places have to be shut down. However I don’t know if ODEON just became rebranded at ‘Reel Cinemas’ or whether it actually is a new chain. Reel Cinemas is an OK cinema but out of the three main ones it York it would be my third choice. They show most of the main film releases and tickets are quite cheap for cinema tickets, but I’m not a fan of the cinema itself. Last time I went the screen was tiny and it just didn’t feel like I was at the Cinema! It’s also the most dated and not as clean as I would like. It is in a good city centre location though.

Very cheap price but not a great cinema experience I was put in what I thought was cupboard but was in fact a screen with only 5 rows of seats and a screen which was smaller then my tv. Have been in 3 times only if it is the only place showing a film I cant watch else where. Every time disaster! One the lights where left on, two the film did not fit the screen, three wrong film entirely! There is always people talking in the screen last time there was2 people doing a drug deal in the screen! And then left before the end of the film. Being a huge fan of film it is cheap but really not how film should be shown or experienced.
