A great clean hotel with 80 odd rooms, situated on the River Ouse, close to a bridge which takes you right into the city centre. A little bit of history I have learnt is that it was built in 2000 and was devastated by the great flood, just after opening. It appeared on television with residents being rescued by boats. Two little things that stops me giving it five stars, firstly no room service, so no breakfast in bed. The other is the price in the bar for certain drinks, although not so bad as many pubs and restaurants are within a few minute walk. If your looking for a clean, comfortable hotel at reasonable prices with no frills, you won’t go far wrong here.
