Wonderful 5-​acre walled garden, adjacent to Helmsley Castle. Despite the rainy day, we couldn’t pull ourselves away, though we warmed up with tea and cakes in the café.

A place to go for nice good and beautiful plants. This is a lovely garden which sells its plants it has a wide range of clematis and perinnials. It is a very relaxing place to walk around. It also has a shop where they sell hand made jewerlly, walking sticks and prety clothes. There is a shop there that sells all sorts of envirometal goods. They sell the wool fat soap that yorkshire is famous for. The best thing about this place is the café. Outside you get to sit under victorian vines and have some wonderful fresh food witht the ingrediants grown onsite. How fresh is that. They also do some nice cakes that go down well with a stron cup of yorkshire tea.
