Flares

Flares boasts 3 floors and serves beers, wines and spirits as well as a selection of Indian, Italian and vegetarian dishes. They also have a disco area and can cater for private parties of up to 30 guests upon request.
I think that Flares in York is always a place i like to go when i go down for weekends, to as the music is always good mainly from the 1970‘s and there is a great atmosphere and always seems to be busy when i have been.
They always seem to have some decent offers on for drinks and you can also buy some wigs and glasses and other such things to make the night more funky.
It is a spacious place and always looks very colorful and you will see all different types of people on birthdays and hen nights and they all look like they are having a great time which is always essential on any kind of night out.

Ah flarees, home of the silly wig and drunken mums. Hidden away in the back streets of York at the end of Mickelgate Flares is good if your after something different. Its usually crowded and you usually have to queue but once your inside they have decent offers on the drinks and as long as you don’t stay too long and start buying the tacky merchandise behind the bar like the aforementioned wigs then you might leave with some respect.
