This is the place to go in York if you want to feel special. I use this spa specifically for my brazilian waxing, which I have done once a month. Because I spend so much time between the US and the UK, I always try to make a point to stop in here during my visits to have this monthly task done.
The reception staff are always very polite and have often made special attempts to get me in for an appointment on short notice. One day, the girl who did my waxing even worked through her lunch break just so I could be seen that day! If you are specifically looking for waxing services, ask for Sophie or Suzi — they are the best!
The spa itself is well decorated, clean, and very nice inside. You are offered a drink upon arrival and are guaranteed to receive the best in care and attention. They offer an array of spa treatments — pretty much everything you can think of — even botox!
I’m a huge fan and would recommend Face Etc to anyone in search of some extreme pampering. I’ll keep going back for sure!
