Caffe Nero

Caffe Nero at the York Designer Outlet is a busy café at the heart of the shopping centre. Open on two sides, with a variety of different sized tables, it is a good place to take a break from the myriad of shops. A good variety of hot drinks, all the usual favourites — Cappuccino, Americano, Latte, Hot Chocolate etc. In regular or large varieties, both of which have a price differential depending on whether you drink in or out, though why you’d have a takeaway coffee in an enclosed shopping centre, I’m not sure. They also had a good variety of food too, including muffins, cookies, curd tarts etc., they looked very appetising! The staff were busy at all times, but were efficient and friendly. The coffee was strong, if a little bitter perhaps, but on the whole, not at all bad.
